Nokia unveiled the Lumia 630 earlier this year in single SIM and dual SIM variants. Today Nokia Lumia 636 and Lumia 638, the first smartphones with 4G TD-LTE support have been announced in China. Unlike 512MB RAM on the Lumia 630, these have 1GB of RAM. Other specifications of these smartphones are similar, including a 4.5-inch FWVGA ClearBlack IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and Windows Phone 8.1.
These have a 5-megapixel rear camera with 720p HD video recording, 8GB of internal memory and a micro SD card slot to expand the memory up to 128GB. Other features include, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+ 42Mbps (Dual Carrier) , WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 1830 mAh battery.
The Nokia Lumia 636 supports LTE bands 1,3,7 and 41 and would head to China Unicom. It would be available from 5th July for 1,299 Chinese Yuan (Rs. 12,360 approx). The Lumia 638 support LTE bands 3, 7, 38, 39, 40 and 41. It would head to China Mobile and would go on sale from June 21st for 1,299 Chinese Yuan (Rs. 12,360 approx.) More specifications and details of the LG G watch have leaked ahead of its official launch. The smartwatch from LG which is powered by Android wear will have a 1.65 inch 280 x 280 display. The specifications which have been leaked on Twitter by @upleaks state that the smartwatch will run on Qualcomm APQ8026 processor and have 4GB storage along with 512 MB of RAM. With 400mAh battery, the watch will run for 36 hours on a single charge and will require 2 hours to charge fully. In terms of connectivity, the watch support Bluetooth 4.0 which will help to connect with your smartphone. The watch will have dimensions of 37.9 x 46.5 x 9.95mm and will weigh in at 61 grams.
A separate rumor from Modaco says the UK release will be July 7th and it will retail for £169.99 ($285). Several photo and video leaks of the LG G watch had already hit online over the past few months. Samsung is reportedly developing a foldable tablet that allegedly be launched in 2015. The tablet can be folded twice to turn into a size of a smartphone, according a report from a Korean Media. Samsung also showcased a bendable tablet at the Mobile World Congress, and back in 2012, Samsung filed for a patent which tells us about a potential foldable tablet.
According to the report, the tablet will feature an 8 to 9-inch full HD OLED display that can convert into a much smaller smartphone-sized. It also mentions that the Samsung has already created a few prototypes of a device. As per the patent images, it looks like the device will have three screens and can be folded on one another to form a stock which makes the device bulky. Details about the foldable tablet are scarce right now but it is expected that the device will be available in limited quantities, and will have a hefty price tag.
However, the company has not confirmed any of the above specs hence there is a possibility that this might just be a rumor. Hybrid devices are coming into limelight lately with Asus Padfone and recently announced Transformer Book V can be transformed into 5 devices.

Oppo has launched the Find 7a along with the Find 7 in India. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD display at 403 PPI with Gorilla Glass 3, powered by a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core (MSM8974AB) processor and runs on ColorOS 1.2.0 based on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Xiaomi announced Hongmi, a budget smartphone back in July last year. It was introduced in international markets as Redmi. Amazon has updated its Kindle app for iOS and Android with Audible audiobook integration. This will enable users to seamlessly switch between reading and listening to their favorite books without leaving the app.

Mozilla introduced a range of new Firefox OS devices at the MWC 2014 earlier this year and also announced a $25 reference design powered by a Spreadtrum processor. Firefox has announced that it has partnered with Indian companies Intex and Spice to launch first Firefox OS smartphones in the Indian market in the next few months.
These companies have not revealed the specifications of the devices yet. The reference design has a Spreadtrum SC6821 processor, 3.5" HVGA touchscreen, integrated WiFi, Bluetooth, FM and camera.

Google is updating Glass with a bunch of new features. For starters, the device is getting better photo sharing for Android users. The MyGlass app for Android will instantly upload a photo that is taken through the Glass.
Users can add filters or edit these photos before sharing them to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and so on. Google says it is working on bringing this new feature to MyGlass for iOS, but did not provide any further details. A Wi-Fi connection is not necessary to undergo this feature. In addition, MyGlass app can now send you a mobile notification if your battery goes below 20%.

BlackBerry is keen on foraying into the tablet market to regain its market share in the highly competitive smartphone market. CEO John Chen indicated that a BlackBerry phablet might be in works, he said in an interview with The Jakarta Post.
If we will do another thing, we will probably go to phablet. I think if you look at our strategy and if you look at where the market goes, there is definitely a good market for something between a phone and tablet,"
said BlackBerry CEO John Chen in the interview.
Chen added in the interview that BlackBerry aims to sell 1 million units of the BlackBerry Z3, a $200 handset which is currently available for sale in Indonesia only. He was also confident that the Z3 will be powerful enough to face competition from iOS and Android. BlackBerry is also not ignoring the enterprise users and an enterprise version of BBM, called e-BBM, will be available in June this year.
No further details about the phablet were given by Chen. The struggling smarthphone maker is already way behind in the smartphone market and should come up with something promising with its phablet in order to get back in the game.

Samsung unveiled the K zoom, its latest camera-centric smartphone at an event in Singapore back in April. The company is all set to launch the smartphone in its home ground Korea and it has renamed it Galaxy Zoom 2 for the Korean market. All the features of the Zoom 2 are similar to the K zoom, including a 20.7MP rear camera with Xenon Flash, BSI Sensor, OIS and 10x optical zoom, 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, 1.7 GHz Dual Core + 1.3 GHz Quad Core Exynos (5260) processor with Mali-T624 GPU and Android 4.4 (KitKat).

Its been rumored for a while now and today Amazon finally lifted the veil from its own take at a music streaming service. If initial impressions are anything to go by, the service doesn't even aim at competing with the likes of Spotify and Rdio.
Available for free to Prime users, the service comes more of an added incentive than the primary reason to subscribe. The music library is very restricted compared to the competition and actually streaming music seems to be a tedious process. The music library is reported to be missing most current hits and lacks content from Universal Music's catalog. Offline playback capabilities will be available on the Kindle Fire, iOS, Android and PC, Mac devices via Amazon's Cloud Player. To make up for the limited music library, Amazon seems to be focusing on expertly curated playlists.
Over all, this is definitely not going to draw subscribers of current music streaming services over to Amazon but should serve as a nice bonus for Prime subscribers. Samsung Galaxy Avant (SM-G386), a mid-range Android smartphone with 4G LTE support will head to T-Mobile this year, according to @evleaks. It has also released a press render of the smartphone that shows faux leather back. Specifications of the phone are not available yet.
Samsung announced the Galaxy Core LTE (SM-G386F), the LTE variant of the Galaxy Core, so this could come with similar specifications. The Galaxy Core LTE has a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 Pixels) qHD display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It could also come with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, expandable up to 64GB with microSD and a 2100 mAh battery, similar to the Galaxy Core LTE.
Looks like this would run on Android 4.4 (KitKat) from the screenshot on the smartphone. It is not clear when we can expect the smartphone, but the date in render shows 28th July, so we can expect the announcement soon.
Samsung is all set to launch their new tablets at the Galaxy Premier 2014 event in less than 24 hours. @evleaks leaked the press images of both the Tab S 8.4 and Tab S 10.5 few weeks back. LG unveiled the G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1 in the G Pad series last month. Today the Korean company has announced that it would begin rolling out these tablets globally, starting from the G Pad 7.0 in Europe this week. It has also detailed the specifications of all these tablets, since display size was revealed at the announcement. These run on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new flat user interface.
All these tablets have 7, 8 and 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) WXGA IPS displays respectively. These would be powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processors, 1GB RAM, expansion slot, front and rear cameras, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Microsoft has finally launched its Outlook for Web app on Android. The app which is already available on the iOS, lets users access their mail, calendar and contacts while on the go.
Outlook Web app for Android works only on Android KitKat 4.4 and higher. Also, users must have Office 365 business mailbox to use this app. It must be noted that this is a pre release and hence Microsoft will gather feedback and do some bug fixes. The app enables Android users to organize their email quick and easy with the Conversation View, Mark as Junk, Flag and Categories. You will also be able to search or browse email in all folders including Outlook Favorites.
With Outlook Web Access, you can also use inline apps for shipment tracking, Bing maps for addresses and even schedule meetings with free/busy and room finder features. The application supports voice control and lets users search for a contact or retrieve their schedule by using voice.
Microsoft also said in the blog post that it will keep adding support to other devices.
