A new Lumia handset with model number RM-1090 has been spotted at FCC. As per the documents, the phone will support dual SIM capabilities and come with a QHD display.
The dimensions of the phone that is listed under model number RM-1090 are 139.9mm x 71.1mm. In addition, it will also have WLAN, Bluetooth LE, and support for the following telecom frequencies: GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900; HSUPA/WCDMA900 (Band 8) and HSUPA/WCDMA2100 (Band 1). The phone is powered by BL-L4A battery.
The phone is expected to have 5 inch screen with resolution of 960 x 540. Considering the specs of the RM-1090 it looks like it is a mid-range device that falls between Lumia 630 and Lumia 730, specifically targeted at China or Asian market. These documents were provided to the FCC from Microsoft's Beijing.

LG has officially launched the L Bello, the company's latest mid-range L series smartphone in India. It appeared of the official LG website in India last month and went on sale online earlier this month. It has a 5-inch HD screen, powered by a 1.3GHz processor, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with premium UX features and has G3-like rear buttons.

Karbonn has introduced festive offers for the Sparkle V, Titanium Octane and Titanium Octane Plus smartphones. All these smartphones have received price cuts for this festive season. The Karbonn Sparkle V, the company's first Android One smartphone that was launched last month for Rs. 6,399 has received a price cut to Rs. 5,999 as a part of this festive offer.
The Karbonn Titanium Octane and Octane Plus that were launched for Rs. 14,490 and Rs. 17,990 back in March got a price cut to Rs. 11,990 and Rs. 13,990 in August, now these smartphones have received further price cuts and are available for Rs. 9,990 and Rs. 11,900 respectively.
Karbonn launched the Titanium S20, a budget smartphone running Android 4.4 and with 3G support for Rs. 4,999. The price cut might be temporary, since it's been announced for the festive season.

Xiaomi has sold 100,000 units of Remi 1S smartphones in just 4.2 seconds in today's (October 14th) sale in India today. September 30th sale took 13.9 seconds. For the festive season Xiaomi offered 1,50,000 Redmi 1S smartphones for the Indian customers on October 6th, which took several hours or more than half a day to sell out.
Totally the company has sold about 4.9 lakh Redmi 1S smartphones in India till today's. The smartphone is still in demand, today's sale saw over 3 lakh registrations. The company would start registrations for the 21st October sale at 6PM today. As usual, registration is compulsory, even if you had already registered for previous sales.
Xiaomi offered 25,000 Mi 3 smartphones on October 6th as a part of festive offer for those who tried and failed to get the smartphone in earlier sales. It is not clear if it would bring the Mi 3 back again. Xiaomi did not announce when the Redmi Note would go on sale in the country.

Celkon launched the Campus A35K, the company's cheapest smartphone running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) and 3G support, back in June for Rs. 2999. It had 512MB of Internal storage, today the company has launched a variant of the smartphone with 2GB of internal storage. Other specifications of the smartphone are similar, including a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1GHz processor, 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has sold 400,000 units of Celkon Campus A35K smartphone till date, says the company. It emerged as a market leader in the segment, and it believes that increasing the memory would make the smartphone continue its number one position in this price segment. Lava did the same thing recently. It released the Iris X1 smartphone with 8GB of internal storage at the same price of the 4GB variant.

Google has released three animated ads that features the upcoming Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 devices. The company has teased the devices prior to its much expected launch tomorrow.
One of the ad feature 5 characters waiting on a bus stop when a small character takes out a huge phone out of his pocket which suggests the 5.9 inch screen Nexus 6. The slogan at the end of the ad reads "All kinds of phones for all kinds of folks". It looks like Google is also positioning Android L in a new way as all the ads also carry a tagline "Be together, Not the same".

The second ad features a bus ride where a girl is seeing carrying the large Nexus 9 tablet playing a song on high volume. This could suggest the stereo front facing speakers on the 8.9 inch Nexus 9.

Huawei Honor Holly smartphone that was announced in India last week has been officially launched in India. It packs a 5-inch HD IPS display with 68% screen-to-body ratio, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Huawei’s Emotion UI on top. It has dual SIM support, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Huawei has partnered with Flipkart to launch the smartphone.
It has 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot and packs a 2000 mAh battery with Huawei SmartPower 2.0 that promises up to 24 hours of battery life with moderate use and over 48 hours on light use.

Huawei already announced that it would launched the Honor X1 tablet in India soon. Today the company launched the tablet in India. It is the same MediaPad X1 tablet that was announced earlier this year at the MWC. It has a 7-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top.
It has a 13-megapixel rear camera Sony Exmor R BSI sensor and LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 10-level auto-facial enhancement and voice-activated hands-free capture. Spice Stellar 524, the company's latest smartphone is now available from online retailer Saholic. It has a 5-inch HD display, powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Apple unleashed the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus last month. We have already seen unboxing and photo gallery of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Now lets compare the hardware of these two phones in this photo gallery.
The iPhone 6 Plus sports a 5.5 inch Retina HD display screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) while the iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch (1134 x 750 pixels). Both the devices run on Apple's A8 processor.
Both the devices have a 1.2MP front facing FaceTime camera with with 720p HD video recording.
The physical home button is also present on both the devices with Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
Both the phones have stripes running from top and bottom for antennas. The battery on the iPhone 6 Plus offers 24 hours of 3G talk time and up to 384 hours of standby. While the one on iPhone 6 offers 14 hours of 3G talk time, up to 250 hours of standby and up to 50 hours of music playback.

We had already seen several leaks about a Motorola-made Google Nexus 6, including a render and even some live images. Now a press render of the smartphone has surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. This shows the side profile of the smartphone. It has also popped up on AT&T website (Via) as a placeholder, which shows the Motorola Nexus 6 name and a possible contract price of $49.99. This would be the first Nexus smartphone heading to AT&T.
According to earlier rumors, the Nexus 6 would come with a 5.9 inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) screen and come with the same design as the new Moto X. It is rumored to be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 3200mAh battery. It will come with Android L.
Several reports point to October 15th launch, which is few hours away. Google is also expected to launch the Nexus 9 tablet made by HTC along with the Nexus 6.

Google is making Android 5.0 official in its latest teaser video. The video released by Sundar Pichai, SVP, Google on Google+ shows an array of desserts starting with the letter 'L' auditioning for Android L.
The thirty second video shows people dressed as different deserts including Lemon Meringue Pie, Lava Cake, Lady Finger, Lemon Drop and so on. All these desserts are shown in a casting room for the part of Android L. Few reports are speculating that as Lollipop is not seen it might either be in the auditioning room or might be entirely omitted. Also not mentioned in the ad is Licorice that was rumored along with Lollipop earlier.

Several reports and videos are suggesting that Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 are wildly expected to be announced on October 15th. Now, a fresh report from the Forbes is claiming that Google will announce the Nexus 6 smartphone and Nexus 9 tablet on a company blog today.
The report claims that it has received a tip from the 'source close to Google'. We already know that the upcoming Nexus 6 smartphone will be Motorola made and is codenamed as 'Shamu' while the Nexus 9 tablet will be HTC made and is codenamed as 'Volantis'. Moving on, the report stated that Google had planned a special event for the Nexus 9 tablet but was cancelled on the grounds that 'Android L needed some tweaking'. Hence, the company is expected to announce both the flagship devices via company blog post.
Giving further insights on the Nexus 9 tablet, the report said that it will be available for pre-order on the 17th October and available to purchase on the 3rd November. Motorola's Droid Turbo has been leaked a number of times in images and specs for the past few weeks. Today, Droid Does site has revealed that the phone will be announced on October 28.
The website is carrying a countdown below the phone that is seen in at the top of while below it says, “Launch date set. All will be revealed.” The Motorola made Droid Turbo will have a 5.2-inch ultra high definition display (1440p), a 21-megapixel rear camera, and 3GB RAM. It will be powered by Snapdragon 805 chipset and run on Android KitKat 4.4. There will be 32GB storage and a 3900mAh battery. We also know that the device will feature Motorola’s turbo charging feature, as well as Qi wireless charging support.

Sony introduced the Xperia Z3 and the Z3 compact recently, at the IFA event in Berlin. The obvious upgrades to the Z2 and the Z1 compact featured a slightly newer design and subtle changes to the hardware. One of the clear USPs of the Z3 is, of course, the camera. Motorola has launched Motorola Deck Bluetooth Speaker by Sol Republic in India after a year it was launched in the U.S. It was appeared on Flipkart last month, has Near Field Communication (NFC) for quick pairing, comes with large R2 Sound Engines and a bass port for enhanced audio output and has built-in microphone to use it as a speaker phone for calls.
It has a built-in battery that is charged via micro USB and promises up to 10 hours of audio playback on a single charge. It has 3.5mm Audio In, 3.5mm Audio Out and has multi-user Bluetooth pairing capabilities. This is called Heist mode, which allows up to five people to pair at the same time. Samsung has announced that it was able to achieve 940MB/second or 7.5Gbps data transmission rate on expreimental 5G network. This was achieved by the company at a stationary environment.
In addition, the company has also recorded uninterrupted and stable connection at 1.2 Gbps, or 150 MB per second, in a mobile environment from a vehicle travelling at over 100 km/h. The mobile 5G testing was conducted from a vehicle racing at high speeds on a 4.35km professional outdoor race track.
Samsung said that both the stationary and mobile tests were conducted over a 28GHz 5G network. The company credits the "Hybrid Adaptive Array Technology" that boosts the range of the signal. It uses millimeter wave frequency bands to enable the use of higher frequencies over greater distances.

Microsoft has unveiled a new video messaging app that allows users to send quick videos messages to friend or group of friends. Dubbed as 'Skype Qik', the new video message app is available on Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
Users can record video upto 42 seconds long using the Skype Qik app that is aimed at offering pure video messaging experience. Resembling to the Snapchat app, Qik is the first app from Skype. In order to use the app users will need to add their mobile number after downloading the app. To record a video clip, you just tap the neon pink button once to start and again to stop and send it to your friends. Users can can switch between your front and back camera at the time of recording however, they cannot preview the video before sending.

The Karbonn Titanium Octane and Octane Plus that were launched for Rs. 14,490 and Rs. 17,990 back in March got a price cut to Rs. 11,990 and Rs. 13,990 in August, now these smartphones have received further price cuts and are available for Rs. 9,990 and Rs. 11,900 respectively.
Karbonn launched the Titanium S20, a budget smartphone running Android 4.4 and with 3G support for Rs. 4,999. The price cut might be temporary, since it's been announced for the festive season.
Xiaomi has sold 100,000 units of Remi 1S smartphones in just 4.2 seconds in today's (October 14th) sale in India today. September 30th sale took 13.9 seconds. For the festive season Xiaomi offered 1,50,000 Redmi 1S smartphones for the Indian customers on October 6th, which took several hours or more than half a day to sell out.
Totally the company has sold about 4.9 lakh Redmi 1S smartphones in India till today's. The smartphone is still in demand, today's sale saw over 3 lakh registrations. The company would start registrations for the 21st October sale at 6PM today. As usual, registration is compulsory, even if you had already registered for previous sales.
Xiaomi offered 25,000 Mi 3 smartphones on October 6th as a part of festive offer for those who tried and failed to get the smartphone in earlier sales. It is not clear if it would bring the Mi 3 back again. Xiaomi did not announce when the Redmi Note would go on sale in the country.
Celkon launched the Campus A35K, the company's cheapest smartphone running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) and 3G support, back in June for Rs. 2999. It had 512MB of Internal storage, today the company has launched a variant of the smartphone with 2GB of internal storage. Other specifications of the smartphone are similar, including a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1GHz processor, 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has sold 400,000 units of Celkon Campus A35K smartphone till date, says the company. It emerged as a market leader in the segment, and it believes that increasing the memory would make the smartphone continue its number one position in this price segment. Lava did the same thing recently. It released the Iris X1 smartphone with 8GB of internal storage at the same price of the 4GB variant.

Google has released three animated ads that features the upcoming Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 devices. The company has teased the devices prior to its much expected launch tomorrow.
One of the ad feature 5 characters waiting on a bus stop when a small character takes out a huge phone out of his pocket which suggests the 5.9 inch screen Nexus 6. The slogan at the end of the ad reads "All kinds of phones for all kinds of folks". It looks like Google is also positioning Android L in a new way as all the ads also carry a tagline "Be together, Not the same".

The second ad features a bus ride where a girl is seeing carrying the large Nexus 9 tablet playing a song on high volume. This could suggest the stereo front facing speakers on the 8.9 inch Nexus 9.

Huawei Honor Holly smartphone that was announced in India last week has been officially launched in India. It packs a 5-inch HD IPS display with 68% screen-to-body ratio, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Huawei’s Emotion UI on top. It has dual SIM support, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Huawei has partnered with Flipkart to launch the smartphone.
It has 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot and packs a 2000 mAh battery with Huawei SmartPower 2.0 that promises up to 24 hours of battery life with moderate use and over 48 hours on light use.

Huawei already announced that it would launched the Honor X1 tablet in India soon. Today the company launched the tablet in India. It is the same MediaPad X1 tablet that was announced earlier this year at the MWC. It has a 7-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top.
It has a 13-megapixel rear camera Sony Exmor R BSI sensor and LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 10-level auto-facial enhancement and voice-activated hands-free capture. We had already seen several leaks about a Motorola-made Google Nexus 6, including a render and even some live images. Now a press render of the smartphone has surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. This shows the side profile of the smartphone. It has also popped up on AT&T website (Via) as a placeholder, which shows the Motorola Nexus 6 name and a possible contract price of $49.99. This would be the first Nexus smartphone heading to AT&T.
According to earlier rumors, the Nexus 6 would come with a 5.9 inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) screen and come with the same design as the new Moto X. It is rumored to be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 3200mAh battery. It will come with Android L.

Google is making Android 5.0 official in its latest teaser video. The video released by Sundar Pichai, SVP, Google on Google+ shows an array of desserts starting with the letter 'L' auditioning for Android L.

Motorola's Droid Turbo has been leaked a number of times in images and specs for the past few weeks. Today, Droid Does site has revealed that the phone will be announced on October 28.
The website is carrying a countdown below the phone that is seen in at the top of while below it says, “Launch date set. All will be revealed.” The Motorola made Droid Turbo will have a 5.2-inch ultra high definition display (1440p), a 21-megapixel rear camera, and 3GB RAM. Sony introduced the Xperia Z3 and the Z3 compact recently, at the IFA event in Berlin. The obvious upgrades to the Z2 and the Z1 compact featured a slightly newer design and subtle changes to the hardware. One of the clear USPs of the Z3 is, of course, the camera. Motorola has launched Motorola Deck Bluetooth Speaker by Sol Republic in India after a year it was launched in the U.S. It was appeared on Flipkart last month, has Near Field Communication (NFC) for quick pairing, comes with large R2 Sound Engines and a bass port for enhanced audio output and has built-in microphone to use it as a speaker phone for calls.
It has a built-in battery that is charged via micro USB and promises up to 10 hours of audio playback on a single charge. It has 3.5mm Audio In, 3.5mm Audio Out and has multi-user Bluetooth pairing capabilities. This is called Heist mode, which allows up to five people to pair at the same time. It has single-user and outdoor modes.

Samsung has announced that it was able to achieve 940MB/second or 7.5Gbps data transmission rate on expreimental 5G network. This was achieved by the company at a stationary environment.
In addition, the company has also recorded uninterrupted and stable connection at 1.2 Gbps, or 150 MB per second, in a mobile environment from a vehicle travelling at over 100 km/h. The mobile 5G testing was conducted from a vehicle racing at high speeds on a 4.35km professional outdoor race track.
Samsung said that both the stationary and mobile tests were conducted over a 28GHz 5G network. The company credits the "Hybrid Adaptive Array Technology" that boosts the range of the signal. It uses millimeter wave frequency bands to enable the use of higher frequencies over greater distances.

Microsoft has unveiled a new video messaging app that allows users to send quick videos messages to friend or group of friends. Dubbed as 'Skype Qik', the new video message app is available on Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
Users can record video upto 42 seconds long using the Skype Qik app that is aimed at offering pure video messaging experience. Resembling to the Snapchat app, Qik is the first app from Skype. In order to use the app users will need to add their mobile number after downloading the app. To record a video clip, you just tap the neon pink button once to start and again to stop and send it to your friends. Users can can switch between your front and back camera at the time of recording however, they cannot preview the video before sending.
