Microsoft's Windows 10 leaked build has appeared online, showing a bunch of features that were rumored earlier. The latest OS from Microsoft with build 9901 shows Cortana integration and more.
Windows 10 is getting the Cortana integration and the Cortana search bar is open by default at the bottom left of the home screen in the new build. Microsoft has also included hot-word detection for Cortana on Windows 10. This means that you can open Cortana just by saying “Hey Cortana”. App settings can now be accessed from within the Modern apps themselves instead of the Charms bar, which no longer includes a settings option.
In addtion, a new Xbox app is also coming with the Windows 10 leaked build. The Windows Store has been updated as well, adding music, movies, and TV shows next to apps. New animations have been added in the TaskView switcher, along with a new view for the settings app. Microsoft officially unveiled Windows 10 OS in September and the preview update added gestures, MKV support, OneDrive improvement and more last month.

With a very unique take on design, quality hardware and a polished build of Android on board, it has the potential to be the tablet of choice for many users but is it perfect? We take an in-depth look in our review.
Hardware
Lifting the tablet out of the box, the first thing you'll notice is the cylindrical tube on one end of the tablet. The cylinder packs the battery as well as the kickstand mechanism. While the rest of the fascia has a black bezel, this kickstand enabled end gives the impression that the tablet is predominantly meant to be used in the landscape orientation. Google Translate is getting 10 new languages in its latest update. Support for the 10 new languages is now live on the Google Translate web portal, and Google says that support will reach mobile apps shortly.
The latest addition of 10 new languages brings the total number of languages supported by Google to 90. Google says that the addition of these new languages will allow 200 million more users to translate text to and from their native languages. Google Translate's latest addition of 10 language include Chichewa (Malawi), Malagasy(Madagascar), Sesotho (South Africa), Malayalam (India), Myanmar (Burmese), Sinhala (Sri Lanka), Sudanese (Basa Sunda), Kazakh (Kazakhstan), Tajik (Tajikistan) and Uzbe (Uzbekistan).
Google has indicated that for now, the new languages are supported by the Google Translate website, however in the coming weeks will be available on both the mobile application and Chrome’s built-in translation feature. Google Translate's next update is expected to have WordLens integration and a auto detection for conversation mode. The company acquired WordLens in May to boost Translate. Last month, Google launched Indian Language Internet Alliance (ILIA), a group formed to promote growth of Indic-language content online.

Lenovo launched the Vibe X2 smartphone in India last month for Rs. 19999 . We brought you the unboxing, benchmarks, photo gallery and camera samples of the Vibe X2 recently, here we have the battery test results of the smartphone. The Vibe X2 has a 2300 mAh built-in Li-polymer battery, slightly larger than the 2000mAh battery on the Vibe X that was launched last year.
The bright 5-inch 1080p display and the 2 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6595 processor drains the battery quickly. Lenovo has added power saving mode that reduces the power consumption of the screen and GPU. We disabled the power saving mode before running the battery test.
Talk Time
It lasted for 12 hours and 30 minutes in the Talk Time test.
3G Browsing
In the 3G browsing test, the Lenovo Vibe X2 lasted for 3 hours and 50 minutes.
Wi-Fi Browsing
In the WiFi browsing test, the Vibe X2 lasted for 4 hours and 10 minutes, which is not at all impressive.
Video Playback
Finally, in the video playback it managed to last for 7 hours and 8 minutes.
Overall the Lenovo Vibe X2 lasted for 6 hours and 44 minutes in our battery test, which is just average for a mid-range smartphone. We will be bringing you the complete review of ...

Vivo just launched the Vivo X5Max, the world’s slimmest smartphone with 4.75mm thickness in India, as it promised. It was announced in China last week and packs a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen with 3.98mm narrow bezels, powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Funtouch OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has magnesium alloy and stainless steel body and a stainless steel back with anti-fingerprint coating. It has YAMAHA YSS-205X digital surround signal processing chip, SABRE ES9601 DAC and TI’s OPA1612 amplifier for better audio output. Vivo is calling the combined audio set up as Hi-Fi 2.0. It has dual SIM support, a micro SIM and a nano SIM that doubles up as a microSD slot when you don't want to use the secondary slot. It has a 3.5mm audio jack with interlocking design to fit the thin frame.

Google Now will soon allow users to control their Nest thermostat. The virtual assistant will simply require a command to change the Nest thermostat setting.
With a command like Ok, Google, set the temperature to 65 degrees”, Google Now will try and complete the task. The temperature requests are displayed in your Google Now card when the thermostat is cooling or heating your home. However, at present the virtual assistant cannot complete your temperature requests as it requires your Google account authorization to work with the Nest device. Currently as soon as you give the command, Google Now takes you to a page setup but when you tap "Yes, I am in", it redirects you to a page that is still not active.
Google had acquired Nest in January this year and unveiled a new "Works with Nest" program that will allow smart devices to work with Nest products.

Google recently launched Nexus 9 along with the Nexus 6 and Nexus Player. The HTC made tablet is now available on T-Mobile, ATA&T and Google Play with LTE support for $600.
T-Mobile lets you add the Nexus 9 to your account for $10 per month that matches your Simple Choice data plan. You can also choose to get 200MB of data free. The Nexus 9 can be purchased for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $24.99. AT&T is offering $100 credit for activating Nexus 9 LTE and signing a two year contract.
The Nexus 9 LTE version has same specs as the original - 8.9″ (2048×1536 pixels) IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. HTC announced the Desire 620G dual SIM along with the Desire 620 dual SIM few weeks back. Now the Desire 620G Dual SIM is available from online retailer Snapdeal in India. iBall has launched Andi 4.5V Baby Panther, the company’s latest smartphone in the Andi series with an Octa-Core processor. It has a 4.5-inch qHD (960 × 540 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Microsoft's entry level phone Lumia 435 has passed through FCC. The Windows phone has been certified in Indonesia and has lower end specifications.
As per the FCC filing, the Lumia 435 will reportedly sport a 4-inch display with an 800×480 resolution, and it will be slightly smaller than the Lumia 535 - measuring 118.1mm tall and 64.7mm wide (versus 119.7mm tall and 62.3mm wide). Powered by a Snapdragon 200 processor, the phone will have a 5MP rear camera. It is also known that the Microsoft Lumia 435 will be powered by a BV-5J battery that is exclusive to the model.
The Lumia 435 apparently comes in several variants, namely RM-1070, RM-1071, RM-1034, RM-1068 and the RM-1032. It is expected to be available globally in both single- and dual-SIM variants. Phonearena report is stating that the Lumia 435 has also been imported to India for testing purposes. It is not known when will Microsoft launch the Lumia 435.

Xolo launched the Omega 5.0 smartphone for Rs. 8,999 earlier this month. We already brought you the unboxing, benchmarks and the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the camera samples. Looking at the range of Android Wear smartwatches available on the market, there's one key similarity between most of them; they feature square watch faces. Foursquare has officially rolled out iPad app with new features that focuses on travel planning and recommendations. The version 8.5 of the app makes it compatible with iPad’s larger display and shows bigger images.
The Foursquare app on iPad will enable users to discover locations like restaurants, bars, delis as well as different points of interest around their location. The app also comes with a Top Picks section to recommend up-and-coming events, newly popular joints and local favorites. You can also use this section to find recommendations for travel destinations around the world.

Microsoft announced in May that it will soon debut Skype translator with real time speech translation by the end of this year. The software giant has kept its promise and rolled out Skype's real time translator preview.
"Today, we are excited to announce the first phase of the Skype Translator preview program. The preview program will kick-off with two spoken languages, Spanish and English, and 40+ instant messaging languages will be available to Skype customers who have signed-up via the Skype Translator sign-up page and are using Windows 8.1 on the desktop or device."

The latest feature translates conversations both ways in real-time. Currently the preview is available only for Windows 8.1 PCs and tablets and only in Spanish and English. Microsoft is expected to make the service available across a wide variety of devices and operating systems over time.

Google is rolling out updates to Docs, Slides and Sheets on Android. The latest updates comes to Android after it landed on Google Drive's iOS apps last week.
"Docs has some new, handy line spacing controls that let you choose single, double or fractional line spacing, Sheets has scrollbars for faster navigation, and you can now insert, move, resize and rotate text boxes, shapes and lines in the updated Slides app."
said Google Drive in a Google Plus post.
Docs, Slides and Sheets get easier file creation and better accessibility. Users can easily open and edit Office files in these three apps. All the three apps will now make it much easier to use a screen reader, with better text-to-voice verbalization and improvements to keyboard navigation. You can now use braille support to read and enter text in Docs, Slides and Drawings.
All the three Google Drive apps received Material Design update along with new features in October.

With a very unique take on design, quality hardware and a polished build of Android on board, it has the potential to be the tablet of choice for many users but is it perfect? We take an in-depth look in our review.
Hardware
Lifting the tablet out of the box, the first thing you'll notice is the cylindrical tube on one end of the tablet. The cylinder packs the battery as well as the kickstand mechanism. While the rest of the fascia has a black bezel, this kickstand enabled end gives the impression that the tablet is predominantly meant to be used in the landscape orientation. Google Translate is getting 10 new languages in its latest update. Support for the 10 new languages is now live on the Google Translate web portal, and Google says that support will reach mobile apps shortly.
The latest addition of 10 new languages brings the total number of languages supported by Google to 90. Google says that the addition of these new languages will allow 200 million more users to translate text to and from their native languages. Google Translate's latest addition of 10 language include Chichewa (Malawi), Malagasy(Madagascar), Sesotho (South Africa), Malayalam (India), Myanmar (Burmese), Sinhala (Sri Lanka), Sudanese (Basa Sunda), Kazakh (Kazakhstan), Tajik (Tajikistan) and Uzbe (Uzbekistan).
Google has indicated that for now, the new languages are supported by the Google Translate website, however in the coming weeks will be available on both the mobile application and Chrome’s built-in translation feature. Google Translate's next update is expected to have WordLens integration and a auto detection for conversation mode. The company acquired WordLens in May to boost Translate. Last month, Google launched Indian Language Internet Alliance (ILIA), a group formed to promote growth of Indic-language content online.

Lenovo launched the Vibe X2 smartphone in India last month for Rs. 19999 . We brought you the unboxing, benchmarks, photo gallery and camera samples of the Vibe X2 recently, here we have the battery test results of the smartphone. The Vibe X2 has a 2300 mAh built-in Li-polymer battery, slightly larger than the 2000mAh battery on the Vibe X that was launched last year.
The bright 5-inch 1080p display and the 2 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6595 processor drains the battery quickly. Lenovo has added power saving mode that reduces the power consumption of the screen and GPU. We disabled the power saving mode before running the battery test.

In the 3G browsing test, the Lenovo Vibe X2 lasted for 3 hours and 50 minutes.

Vivo just launched the Vivo X5Max, the world’s slimmest smartphone with 4.75mm thickness in India, as it promised. It was announced in China last week and packs a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen with 3.98mm narrow bezels, powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Funtouch OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has magnesium alloy and stainless steel body and a stainless steel back with anti-fingerprint coating. It has YAMAHA YSS-205X digital surround signal processing chip, SABRE ES9601 DAC and TI’s OPA1612 amplifier for better audio output. Vivo is calling the combined audio set up as Hi-Fi 2.0. It has dual SIM support, a micro SIM and a nano SIM that doubles up as a microSD slot when you don't want to use the secondary slot. Google Now will soon allow users to control their Nest thermostat. The virtual assistant will simply require a command to change the Nest thermostat setting.
With a command like Ok, Google, set the temperature to 65 degrees”, Google Now will try and complete the task. The temperature requests are displayed in your Google Now card when the thermostat is cooling or heating your home. However, at present the virtual assistant cannot complete your temperature requests as it requires your Google account authorization to work with the Nest device. Currently as soon as you give the command, Google Now takes you to a page setup but when you tap "Yes, I am in", it redirects you to a page that is still not active.
Google had acquired Nest in January this year and unveiled a new "Works with Nest" program that will allow smart devices to work with Nest products.

Google recently launched Nexus 9 along with the Nexus 6 and Nexus Player. The HTC made tablet is now available on T-Mobile, ATA&T and Google Play with LTE support for $600.
T-Mobile lets you add the Nexus 9 to your account for $10 per month that matches your Simple Choice data plan. You can also choose to get 200MB of data free. The Nexus 9 can be purchased for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $24.99. AT&T is offering $100 credit for activating Nexus 9 LTE and signing a two year contract.

Microsoft's entry level phone Lumia 435 has passed through FCC. The Windows phone has been certified in Indonesia and has lower end specifications.
As per the FCC filing, the Lumia 435 will reportedly sport a 4-inch display with an 800×480 resolution, and it will be slightly smaller than the Lumia 535 - measuring 118.1mm tall and 64.7mm wide (versus 119.7mm tall and 62.3mm wide). Powered by a Snapdragon 200 processor, the phone will have a 5MP rear camera. It is also known that the Microsoft Lumia 435 will be powered by a BV-5J battery that is exclusive to the model.
The Lumia 435 apparently comes in several variants, namely RM-1070, RM-1071, RM-1034, RM-1068 and the RM-1032. It is expected to be available globally in both single- and dual-SIM variants. Phonearena report is stating that the Lumia 435 has also been imported to India for testing purposes. It is not known when will Microsoft launch the Lumia 435.

Foursquare has officially rolled out iPad app with new features that focuses on travel planning and recommendations. The version 8.5 of the app makes it compatible with iPad’s larger display and shows bigger images.

Microsoft announced in May that it will soon debut Skype translator with real time speech translation by the end of this year. The software giant has kept its promise and rolled out Skype's real time translator preview.
"Today, we are excited to announce the first phase of the Skype Translator preview program. The preview program will kick-off with two spoken languages, Spanish and English, and 40+ instant messaging languages will be available to Skype customers who have signed-up via the Skype Translator sign-up page and are using Windows 8.1 on the desktop or device."

The latest feature translates conversations both ways in real-time. Currently the preview is available only for Windows 8.1 PCs and tablets and only in Spanish and English. Microsoft is expected to make the service available across a wide variety of devices and operating systems over time.

Google is rolling out updates to Docs, Slides and Sheets on Android. The latest updates comes to Android after it landed on Google Drive's iOS apps last week.
"Docs has some new, handy line spacing controls that let you choose single, double or fractional line spacing, Sheets has scrollbars for faster navigation, and you can now insert, move, resize and rotate text boxes, shapes and lines in the updated Slides app."
said Google Drive in a Google Plus post.
Docs, Slides and Sheets get easier file creation and better accessibility. Users can easily open and edit Office files in these three apps. All the three apps will now make it much easier to use a screen reader, with better text-to-voice verbalization and improvements to keyboard navigation. You can now use braille support to read and enter text in Docs, Slides and Drawings.
All the three Google Drive apps received Material Design update along with new features in October.
