The sheer volume of Chinese manufactures has seldom helped us in remembering them, but among them a few companies do stand out and one among them is Oppo. Having produced only a handful of smartphones so far, Oppo have "made it large" because of their hardware and design language in their phones. Oppo have just launched their Oppo N1 and today we have images of what is probably the company's next smartphone - Oppo R829. Via their Weibo account, Oppo have posted the image of this new device and according to Oppo's Brand Ambassador - Kedros Ng, this device is the Oppo R829. The naming convention makes us inclined to think that this is the successor of Oppo R819 which we reviewed earlier. According to sources, the Oppo R829 comes with specifications that includes a 4.5inch 720p display, Snapdragon 600 SoC and 2GB RAM. There will also be an 8MP camera at the back with LED flash making it a smaller version of their Oppo Find 5. Rumors have it that the phone will be priced at  ¥2000 (about Rs. 20,500), but unfortunately the phone is currently being made only for China. Oppo is currently trying to make its way to the Indian ...

LG G Flex successor reported to bend up to 90 degrees

While the LG G Flex is yet to hit retail in most parts of the world, rumors have already started making the rounds about the successor to the device. The LG G Flex II as it is expected to be called will have a screen that can bend up to 90 degrees forward. The LG G Flex can already spread open on applying pressure and this is definitely quite impressive. However, bending up to 90 degrees is akin to a laptop screen being flattened out from an open position. We're not entirely sure what purpose this would serve though it should help impact resistance. Depending on the curvature, the phone will also fit better along your leg and should be easier to slip out. The LG G Flex is one of only two phones with curved displays that are currently shipping. The other phone is the Samsung Round and is relegated to only the South Korean market. The successor to the LG G Flex should be released sometime in 2014 and the company already has plans to announce and/or release fully bendable phones sometime in 2015 so this does seem quite plausible. Google Nexus 5 Review

Google Nexus 5 Review The Google Nexus One was strictly a developer device, with promises of instant updates and stock Android experience. It did not retail at prices that undercut the competition($530) but managed to become the only device that had the latest Android version. The Nexus S was similar, but with Galaxy Nexus, Google managed to price it surprisingly lower than the competition with similar hardware, thanks to introduction of the Google Play ecosystem. Somehow, from being a costly developer device, the Nexus became a highly desirable and affordable device, that brought users the best Google experience. Buy the Nexus and you will not only get the latest Android update instantly, but also get the best Google experience out of the box. That was Google's message for the consumers. Right from the design, the material choices and the software experience, it's pure Google. Two generations ahead, it is now more pronounced than ever, with the Google Nexus 5. LG was the company that Google chose, to make the Nexus 4, which was a runaway hit, to say the least. It remains the same this generation, except for better availability of stock at launch, and seemingly, a better device overall, improving upon ...

Lenovo P780 Review

Lenovo P780 was launched recently in India. The Lenovo P780 resembles most mid-range phablets in India because of its internal specifications, but differs from the crowd thanks to a couple of special features. One among its unique feature is that Lenovo P780 comes with an enormous 4000mAh (which according to a Lenovo Ad will help you last a week in an island). Another differentiating factor that bolsters its position over the other mid-range smartphones is its solid build quality. So, is the Lenovo P780 worth it? Lets find out. Design, Build Quality and Handling The design and build quality are definitely one of the advantages of Lenovo P780. We saw that Lenovo is capable of delivering solid products as they did with their Lenovo K900 and it is pretty evident that build quality means a lot to them even in their mid-range products. Lenovo P780 is made of solid metal and that gives it a premium look when compared to the cheap plastic phones from other manufacturers. On the front, most of the real estate belongs to the 5inch HD display. Above the display, we have the Lenovo logo above which we have the earpiece along the top edge. There is a front facing ...
