The prototype said to pack three OLED panels of 3.5 inches each, two of them when combined creates a 7-inches screen when the smartphone is unfolded, while the third panel was placed on the outside of the in-folding prototype as an information ticker. When unfolded, the phone is said to follow the footprints of the Galaxy Note 8. Furthermore, the design of the Galaxy X is not finalized just yet.

Motorola has been expanding its retail footprint across India rapidly. Now the company has announced the opening of 25 new Moto Hubs in North East India, including 15 Moto Hubs in Guwahati. Earlier this week it opened 50 Moto Hub stores in Telangana and 50 Stores in Andhra Pradesh.

HMD Global launched the Nokia 7 Plus smartphone in India earlier this month, and the pre-bookings for the phone started today. The Nokia 7 Plus packs a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size with ZEISS optics, dual-tone LED flash along with a 13-megapixel secondary camera with telephoto lens, 1.0µm pixel size, f/2.6 aperture with ZEISS optics to capture the depth information for portrait shots and also offers 2X loss-less zoom. According to a report from Mac Otakara, Apple is said to introduce a new iPhone SE model in May. This new piece of information was obtained from case makers at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics trade show in Hong Kong this week. Furthermore, the next-gen SE is said to retain the same physical size as the current iPhone SE.
The iPhone SE 2 (if that's what Apple is planning on naming it) will also pack the TouchID and will have the same 4-inches display with thick bezels on top and bottom to accommodate the front-camera, TouchID, and earpiece. Google autocomplete predictions more often than not return funny and wild queries. Though they are fun at times, most of the times they tend to surface inappropriate predictions. However, Google is vowing to expand its policies to take on violent and hateful search autocomplete predictions.
The company will be rolling out updates in the coming weeks to reduce the possibility of it occurring. Autocomplete is especially useful for those using mobile devices to make it easy to complete a search on a small screen where typing can be hard. Google claims that on an average, it reduces typing by about 25 percent and is estimated save over 200 years of typing time per day.
These predictions are common and are trending ones related to what someone types. However, Google removes predictions that are against its policies; Sexually explicit predictions, Hateful predictions, violent or dangerous predictions. In the coming weeks, it will be expanding the policies related to hate and violence and any predictions that “advocate, glorify or trivialize violence and atrocities, or which disparage victims” will be removed.

LG is all set to introduce the G7 ThinQ smartphone on May 2nd. We know most of the specifications of the smartphone and even know how the phone will look like. Now a new report says that the phone will come with a dedicated Google Assistant button. A recent render just showed a power button on the right side, but the Google Assistant button will be on the left side of the phone, according to the report.
This will be the first phone to have a physical button to launch Google Assistant, same as Samsung's Bixby button on the Galaxy flagships, but it will not be possible to be reprogrammed to launch another app, just like the Bixby button. It is not clear if it can be disabled.

Yesterday OnePlus in a teaser confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship smartphone will be launched in India exclusively on Amazon.in, same as the earlier phones. Today Amazon has confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will be available for 'Notify Me' starting 00:00 hrs, 22nd April, 2018 exclusively on Amazon.in.
OnePlus 6 is confirmed to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The new flagship will come with a large screen with a notch, will retain the slider, and will possibly have a glass back for wireless charging. There are also reports of bamboo back option.
The OnePlus 6 is expected to launch sometime in early May. We should know the official launch date soon.

Earlier this week ASUS confirmed that the Zenfone Max Pro (M1) with Snapdragon 636 will be launched exclusively on Flipkart on April 23rd. Now the specifications of the smartphone has surfaced in Indonesia, and the phone is launching in the country on the same date. This reveals a 6-inch FullView display, stock Android Oreo, dedicated dual SIM slots, dual rear cameras, fingerprint sensor on the back, Face unlock, 5000mAh battery and more.

Meizu just announced 15, 15 Plus and 15 Lite smartphones at an event in China, as it had promised. The Meizu 15 has a 5.46-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display from Samsung with 1.175mm ultra-narrow frame and the 15 Plus has a 5.95-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display from Samsung with 84.4% screen-to-body ratio. Both the phones have a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX380 sensor, 1.55μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture along with a 20-megapixel secondary telephoto lens with Sony IMX350 sensor for portrait shots and 3x loss-less zoom and a 20-megapixel front facing camera with AI beauty recognition and Face unlock.
These have front-mounted fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in just 0.08 seconds and the built-in mEngine offer more real and delicate vibration effect. The small home button has pressure sensor chip, which combined with mEngine can simulate the feel of the physical buttons, says the company. The phones pack a 3000mAh and 3500mAh battery, respectively with 24W mCharge flash charge.

Meizu along with the 15 series smartphones also introduced its new Halo headset, which is a Bluetooth in-ear headset with built-in laser light in the cable that can flash with the music beat. It uses OSRAM laser diode so the brightness is 5x more compared to traditional LED, says Meizu. It also has CORNING custom side-emitting glass fiber, so the brightness is thorough and uniform. It also has customized app to adjust laser brightness, switch mode and other functions.
Meizu also introduced POP really wireless water-resistant earbuds that has a 5.8g light-weight design. It has touch interaction and comes with a case for charging, and that case has wireless charging. It has an ergonomic in-ear design so that it doesn't fall off easily even during strenuous exercise such as running and other fitness activities, says the company.

Xiaomi is all set to introduce the Mi 6X smartphone in a couple of days. It already confirmed 20-megapixel cameras on the front and back and also said that it will come in Blue, Pink, Red, Black and Gold colors. It also confirmed that it will have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, in addition to 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version.
Retail box of the smartphone has surfaced online that confirms Snapdragon 660 SoC with AIE for the smartphone, even though earlier rumors said it will come with MediaTek Helio P60 SoC. The box also reveals USB Type-C to 3.5mm converter as in-box content for USB Type-C audio, so the phone doesn't have an audio jack.

Back in February, commits to the Chromium codebase revealed that Chrome OS could soon run Linux applications using a container. Though it was possible to run Linux application in Chrome OS using the crouton, it only works in the developer's mode.
Perhaps the new Google's solution might presumably work better and doesn't require Dev Mode to be enabled. Today we see more evidence of this feature, and it appeared in the Chrome OS Dev channel. According to Reddit users, a new Terminal app has been added to the app drawer, and clicking it opens a dialog explaining the feature. This feature is very much identical to the concept posted to the Chromium Gerrit in February.
However, the when trying to install the terminal app, it returns an error which indicates that the feature is not functional yet. But it is very interesting to see Linux app support come together, but we need to wait for some more time before the feature goes official.

Back at MWC we got a chance to see the 2018 range of the Asus Zenfone series. While the Zenfone 5 line up marks the upper end of the range, the Max series is the company's bread and butter in India. ASUS just launched its Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone in India. We brought the first impressions of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the phone. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 636 Mobile platform that has 8 x Kryo 260 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz per core and it has Adreno 509 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM, runs stock Android 8.1 (Oreo) and packs a 6-inch Full HD+ display. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores results below.
AnTuTu Benchmark 6
It scored 93437 points and topped the AnTuTu Benchmark 6 and topped the charts. It scored 113381 points in the AnTuTu 7 Benchmarks, slightly better than the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but it couldn't beat the OPPO F7 which scored 139785 points.
Geekbench 4 Single-Core
It scored 1339 points in the Geekbench 4 Single-Core benchmark and grabbed the third spot, behind the Galaxy A8+ (2018).

Google started rolling out 'My Saves' or Saved pages in the last September. It is a mish-mash of your saved bookmarks while browsing search results in the Google app, and Maps lists. However, Google is starting to replace it with 'Collections.'
Since it is a server-side rollout, it is entirely upto Google whether or not you will be able to see the more modern interface where the saved lists are now called "Collections in the Saved pages either through the Google app or by navigating to google.com/save. It will be laid out more compactly, and tapping on any collection opens up a list of cards, but unlike before they're now spanned in two columns instead of taking up a row each.
However, the functionality doesn't change, it remains the same, you can create a new collection and move items between collections, you will get automatic lists from your Favorites and Google Maps lists, but you can't search through your items or share an entire collection. Other changes include the ability to choose a cover photo, add a description to a collection, and have automatic lists for recipes, videos, jobs, and more.
