Google Lens from the date it was announced refrained itself within the camera app and Assistant, and today Google has finally launched it as a standalone app on the PlayStore. This way you can now access Lens feature even if your phone doesn’t currently offer it. The Google Lens app offers exactly same functionality as it does anywhere else.
The Google Lens uses artificial intelligence to scan what you are pointing and deliver information about the captured images. Once you install and open the app, it brings the viewfinder and Lens will instantly start identifying nearby objects. Though the app is available on Play Store, it isn't compatible with every Android device. According to Play Store listing, the app requires devices with Android Marshmallow and above.
Google Lens has been available on Pixel, Pixel 2, Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact and OnePlus phones. Google additionally rolled out support to LG, Motorola, Xiaomi, Sony Mobile, Nokia, Transsion, TCL, OnePlus, BQ, and Asus. You can download the Google Lens app from Play Store here.
Google revamped the Gmail interface with Smart Replies, confidential mode, priority notifications, Nudge’ respond reminders was rolled out in early adaptors program back in April, and the interface is still in preview. The new UI will roll out to all G Suite users in July, and we hope it will be available for regular Gmail users as well at the same time.
Once the revamped UI is rolled out, G Suite admins will have the option to immediately transition users to the revamped UI, allow users to opt-in for a brief period of time. Google gives G Suite users four weeks time to opt into the new Gmail, and the last option will be the default setting. Eight weeks after the rollout, users will be automatically updated to the new Gmail.
However, they still can opt-out for another four weeks. We don't see any reason to opt-out the UI since the new interface is feature rich and is very refreshing. If you wish to try out the new UI, you can opt into the Early Adopter Program by hitting the settings button in your inbox and selecting "Try the new Gmail."

Google has rolled out a new beta update to Gboard bringing the version to V7.3. While there are not many features or changes, digging deep within the APK reveals some critical changes like OCR capabilities, battery saver mode support with a dark theme, custom text and more.
Gboard might soon get some OCR functionality, but for now, there are not many details about the same. It just states name and title. Obviously, the name of the string doesn't match with any of the other toolbar features that are available in expanded menu button on the left. It is likely to allow users to either take existing images stored on the device or possibly open a camera to scan something immediately in front of you, then paste the content on the image into the current app. Since Google Lens also has similar functionality, it needs to be seen how the new feature changes things.
Google might soon bring the ability to add text to Gif. Users can add text, edit, and delete while you're working on your GIF, and you can choose from seven different colors: Black, Blue, Green, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow. The company looks to be adding more effects to the 'Make A GIF' feature, this time ...
Google rolled out Smart Replies in Android Messages last year, while the initial offering was available to selected devices as it was a server-side roll out. Now according to new reports, the test might be expanding as users have started reporting seeing the feature on their devices.
To remind you, Smart Replies is a Google product that automatically generates the responses to the messages you receive. In the last couple of days, the feature has reportedly started reaching to a broader audience. A few Reddit users are reporting that the feature is making its way to Android Messages on devices as old as the Nexus 6. In case you haven't received the feature just yet, you can give Google's Reply a try as it adds similar functionality with more number of apps including WhatsApp.

According to @evleaks it will cost $649 (Rs. 43,520 approx.) in the U.S. €649 (US$ 763 / Rs. 51,200 approx.) in Europe, £579 (US$ 777 / Rs. 52,122 approx.) in Europe and $829 (US$ 640 / Rs. 42,920 approx.) in Canada, which is costly compared to the KEY ONE.

Google seems to be rolling out new dedicated topic pages with related articles in the Feed. It is now filling with more articles on a given news category, accessible via the labeled tags above each. Google has picked up the pace of pushing out new features to the Feed section in the recent months.
Topically categorized pages look actually be a useful improvement. Feed usually features a small related image, and again since the Feed launched last July, users have been able to tap the top of the card to perform a regular Google Search. But suddenly a right chevron icon started appearing for some users next to the topic name. When tapped, it opens a list of approximately 20 articles in the style of regular Feed cards. At the top of this whole other feed is a related image, as well as the name of the subject.
As you keep scrolling, an app bar with the topic name remains. You can also see an overflow menu on the top-right corner where usually users leave feedback. We feel that instead of using Google search to find related articles, users. The update might be a server-side roll out, and the feature has been spotted on older versions of ...
Google at the I/O 2018 mentioned that first Google Assistant-powered smart displays from companies like LG, Lenovo, and JBL will be available from July. However, according to B&H Photo pre-order listings, the Lenovo’s smart displays might be up for pre-orders already.
The listing displays "coming soon" with a September 3 “expected availability” date. Thought it might be disappointing, the price tag of the Smart Display according to what Lenovo said at the CES early this year was around $200 for the 8-inch model and $249.99 for the bigger, 10″ model, but the B&H lists them at $149.99 and $229.99, respectively. That's a pretty sweet discount and much more affordable.
The Lenovo Smart Display comes in two variants; one with 8-inch and another with a 10-inch Full HD display. Users can interact with Google assistant on the Smart Display via a 10-watt full-range speaker just as they would on a smartphone. It can stream videos directly from YouTube as well. The Smart Display in sleep mode doubles as a digital picture display to showcase images from a folder in Google Photos or other background images of your choosing.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 has been in the news for quite some time for many obvious reasons. The flagship is back to it again today and this time the source is ever famous Ice Universe who has been the force behind the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 real-life photos, and S9 leaks as well. — Ice universe (@UniverseIce) June 5, 2018
While there were many rumors about the Galaxy S9 design changes, the new leak from the ever-reliable leakster shows that the Galaxy Note9 doesn't seem to have taken any huge step forward from the Galaxy Note8. In fact, it remains very identical except for the aforementioned enlarged front camera. Despite very well-established resources at hand, Samsung stuck to basics in what can be seen as a move to save manufacturing costs.
It is already reported that Samsung has made some last minute changes with directions from Vice president and this change has caused a delay of two-weeks. with Samsung's 10th-anniversary flagships coming out next year, the company might be saving the best for next year. ...

A new version of chrome has been rolled out slightly after the rollout of the Chrome 67 public release. This update brings the version to Chrome 68 and adds features like new payment handler API, adblocker Chrome redirections, changes to web app install banners, and more.
Initially, the Chrome's adblocker was supposed to go live in Chrome 64 but has halted in the last minute, the same has happened with Chrome 65 as well, and now with V68 beta, the feature looks to have been enabled by default. However, the blocker is listed active but the discussion on the bug page hasn't had a comment since May. So it creates more confusion if the feature would actually go live in Chrome 68.
There's another form of page hijacking called 'tab-under redirects.' This form of hijacking results in when you tap a link that opens in a new tab, the original tab can redirect to another page. The blocker for this has been under development for quite some time and starting with Chrome 68, this will be enabled by default.
