SkyDrive is an integral part of the extended Windows ecosystem and 20GB of free storage is nothing to sneeze at. Including Windows Phone users into the mix is a good way to drive adoption for their cloud storage service. As sales plunge, BlackBerry has announced a new partnership with Foxconn to produce BlackBerry 10 devices. The five year partnership aims to launch the first device by March or April. The BlackBerry 10 based device will be introduced first in Indonesia. The company has also earmarked six or seven additional markets for the device.
The device will be 3G enabled and should make its way to India as well given that the subcontinent remains a fairly major market for BlackBerry products. Shifting to Foxconn will allow BlackBerry to cutdown investments while possibly producing better hardware. All intellectual property will be owned by BlackBerry. Foxconn's responsibilities will be limited to manufacturing and working on the hardware of the devices. The cost of manufacturing will be paid to Foxconn directly by BlackBerry once production starts and costs are finalized. A clause is in place which says that Foxconn will take a portion of revenues once they exceed a certain amount.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Grand 2 in India as we reported last week, but the company did not reveal the pricing. It was unveiled last month and packs a 5.25-inch (1280 x 720 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera. It is just 8.9 mm thick and weighs 163 grams. It offers leather-like premium feel on its back cover, similar to Note 3.
It has dual-SIM capabilities similar to the previous Grand, including, Smart Dual SIM feature that enables the user to receive calls on one SIM number while taking a call from the other. It has Samsung’s unique features such as Multi Window, Story Album, S Translator, S Travel, Sound & Shot, Samsung Hub, Group Play, Samsung Link and more. At the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 launch event, Samsung launched Club Samsung for its Indian infotainment content that includes, Music, Movies, Gigs and Live TV, optimized for Samsung Galaxy devices. It offers content in various languages such as Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Gujarati.
The Club Samsung Store lets users access over 5000 movies, 4 lakh songs, 500 Gigs and Live TV with 90+ channels. It offers content recommendation through Discovery, an intelligent algorithm that lets you select playlist according to your mood, era, language or Genre, which gets updated automatically once new content is added, said Samsung.
The Club Samsung service would be available for the Galaxy Grand 2 users for free for the first 3 months, that offers unlimited access. Samsung did not announce separate pricing for the Club Samsung service for other Samsung Galaxy devices. LG has unveiled Pocket Photo 2 (PD239), its new smart mobile printer and the successor of its first Pocket Photo Printer that was launched in India earlier this year. The Pocket Photo 2 is compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows 8 operating systems and can connect to these devices over Bluetooth (Bluetooth) or NFC (Near Field communication). The successor is just 20mm thick, 4mm thinner than the first Photo printer and has a slim design for better portability.
Even though the device is thin, it can print up to 30 sheets or prints with a single charge. It can print images at a resolution of 600 dpi (dots per inch), better than the first printer that is capable of printing images at 313 dpi.
It also comes with a dedicated app, option to print QR code or messages in images, adding filters, effects, frames and lots more. It uses a non-ink-based technology that uses a separate ink photo paper, similar to the first pocket printer.

Today, Samsung announced the successor to Samsung Galaxy Grand and also unveiled their GamePad in India. Recently we brought you information that Samsung's GamePad went on sale in Europe and today we will be bringing you the hands-on pictures with the Samsung GamePad. Samsung has announced that the GamePad will be available in India from January 2014 and will be priced at Rs. 4,999.
The smartphone GamePad will connect with the smartphone via Bluetooth pairing on optimized Android 4.3 devices like Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Note 2 and Note 3, pairing can also be done via NFC tags. As you can see from the images, the Samsung GamePad looks quite premium. It has two direction toggles, a direction pad and a four button layout on the front. There is also a GAME button at the center.
There is a Select and Start button on the bottom of the front side and is quite easily accessible. To the left of it, we have the Bluetooth toggle and below it we have the microUSB charging port.
The back of the Samsung GamePad seems quite plain and the curved back should make it easier to hold on to.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 earlier today at an event in Mumbai. The successor of the Galaxy Grand would be priced between Rs. 22,900 and Rs. 24,900. It is already available for pre-order from the Samsung India eStore and would go on sale in the first week of January 2014. At the launch event we got some hands-on time with the device. The Lava 3G 402+ that went on pre-order last week, has been officially launched in India. It has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). Sony has launched Sony LIV, premium video-on-demand service for BlackBerry 10 smartphones. The Sony LIV app is available for BlackBerry Z10 and Z30 smartphones from the BlackBerry World. The app comes pre-loaded on Sony Smartphones and is also available on iPhone and Windows Phone 8 devices. It offers content from Sony TV channels such as Sony Entertainment Television, MAX, SAB, MIX, across various genres including, drama, comedy, thriller, reality shows and more.
The app has Mood Wheel to watch favorite video according to your mood or genre. In addition to TV shows, the app also offers short content formats like Catch-up episodes, Quickisodes and Short crunch episodes.

Recently, Sony updated their latest flagships - Sony Xperia Z1 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra to Android 4.3 Jellybean. While the whole industry is currently working on bringing Android 4.4 KitKat to its device, Sony is a little behind the curve as it is just rolling out Android 4.3 Jellybean.
Sony has started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jellybean update for four devices( 3 smartphones and a tablet) that were launched in 2013 - Sony Xperia Z, Sony Xperia ZL, Sony Xperia ZR and Sony Xperia Tablet Z. For quite sometime now, rumors have been floating around that Nokia is working on a dual SIM Windows Phone device. According to earlier leaks and rumors, Nokia Moneypenny is expected to be a dual SIM smartphone running Windows Phone 8.1 and is will be launched either as Lumia 630/Lumia 635.
Today, popular leakster @evleaks has tweeted a screenshot from Nokia Moneypenny. As seen from the screenshot, there are two status indicators clearly proving the fact that the device is infact a dual SIM smartphone. There are also separate numbered tiles for phone and messages for each SIM. In addition to the dual SIM feature, as previously leaked by @evleaks, Windows Phone 8.1 will be having on screen keys instead of capacitive touch keys.
The resolution of the screenshot shows that the resolution of the device will be 480x854 which is a small bump from current standard of 480x800 pixels. The extra vertical pixels are probably for the on screen navigation buttons. Unlike the abundant dual SIM Android smartphones that crowd the Indian mid-range market and have one 3G and one 2G SIM card slot, the Nokia Moneypenny smartphone is shown to have two 3G SIM card slots.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 Review
The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 is the much awaited successor to the S Duos which was the Samsung phone to get in the mid range not long ago. It had offered pretty much similar specifications as the Galaxy S but at a far lesser price making it a good deal, although only for a short time. Mainly because a lot of local players got aggressive with the pricing and offered a lot of better deals for a similar price, not to mention Nokia's Lumia 520, which has been a popular device at a lesser price offering more value. With such renewed competition, Samsung hopes to offer a better deal with the Galaxy S Duos 2. How better of a deal is it? We find out in our review.

Nokia phone codenamed Normandy was expected to be a large-screen Asha phone with the looks of Lumia, but the recent rumors suggested that the Nokia Normandy is an Android smartphone that Nokia is working on, which might be released in 2014. Now evleaks has posted an image of the phone in new colors. The Twitter user has also mentioned the year as 2013 in the tweet, so the phone might not be released since the year is going to end, even though earlier rumors revealed that Nokia is continuing the development of Nokia Normandy in “full steam”.
The design of the phone is a combination of Asha and Lumia. The phone has a back button, below the screen and also has a micro USB slot on the bottom. As seen in the image above, the phone has volume rocker and the power/lock button on the right side, but the dedicated camera key usually seen on Lumia phones seems to be missing.
You can also see a rear camera without flash, and the back cover would obviously be removable. The phone is seen in Green, White, Yellow, Blue, Red and Black colors.
Sony has announced and launched a very interesting USB storage device that can connect to both PCs and Smartphones. LG D410, a mysterious smartphone has surfaced on GFXBench. The phone is rumored to be launched as G2 mini, which the company is reportedly working on, for 2014 launch. Earlier rumors revealed that the phone would have a 4.7-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM, but the leaked benchmark details reveal that the phone would come with a qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) processor with Adreno 305 GPU and run on Android 4.4 (Kit Kat).
Both the Moto G and the Padfone mini 4.3 have a similar processor. Looking at the leaked specifications, the G2 mini might be a mid-range smartphone like the G Pro Lite Dual, a mid-range variant of the G Pro. Even though the screen size is not mentioned, the smartphone is expected to come with a 4.3-inch or a 4.5-inch screen. No details about the camera, RAM or the battery capacity yet.
Will the LG D410 be released as LG G2 mini? Can we expect the smartphone at the MWC 2014 next year? Only time will tell.
