Google recently announced a new look for the Google sign-in screen, but then again due to some unforeseen delays it pushed the launch. However, it is finally rolling out the new design this week including some minor changes. This new design takes advantage of the new Material Theme styling.
Going forward, when you sign in to your G Suite account, you may notice the screen looks slightly different with some of the changes include tweaks to the Google logo and center alignment of all items on the screen. HMD Global has finally released Android P Developer Preview 4 (Beta 3) V3.110 for the Nokia 7 Plus smartphone, weeks after Google pushed the update for its Pixel devices. In addition to option to side-load the update manually, the company is also offering OTA update, similar to Google.

After rumors, Huawei has officially announced the Nova 3i, a cheaper version of the Nova 3 in China. It packs a 6.3-inch FHD+ 19:5:9 aspect ratio curved glass display with a notch, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2 and a 24-megapixel front camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera, similar to the Nova 3, but this has a 16-megapixel rear camera AI scene recognition along with a 2-megapixel secondary rear camera for portrait shots. It is powered by new Kirin 710 Octa-Core 12nm SoC with support for GPU Turbo feature.

The European Commission has fined Google €4.34 billion ($5.04 billion) for breaching EU antitrust rules. It claims that since 2011, Google has imposed illegal restrictions on Android device manufacturers and mobile networks to cement its dominant position in general internet search.
The commission says that Google needs to put an end to the conduct within the next 90 days or face penalty payments of up to 5% of the average daily worldwide turnover of Alphabet. It says that Google imposed conditions that manufacturers have to pre-install the Google Search app and browser app (Chrome) as a condition for licensing Google's PlayStore. Google said to have made payments to certain manufacturers and mobile network operators on condition that they exclusively use the Google Search app on their devices.

Samsung is rumored to launch a new smartphone for quite some time, it is also reported that the company is sketching plans to bring the smartwatch series under the Galaxy line-up. In what was initially believed to be called as the Gear S4 may actually be launched as the Galaxy Watch.
But what is unknown are the details regarding the launch. Previous reports suggested that it will be launching alongside the Galaxy Note 9 at the IFA 2018 convention in Berlin this September. However, a new report from Korea now says the same and goes on to claim that it will go on sale on the same as the Galaxy Note 9; i.e, on August 24th. Though Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Note 9 launch on August 9th, it hasn't teased anything about the Galaxy Watch.
Contrary to rumors, the new Galaxy Watch will still be a Tizen device and will run Tizen OS, not the Wear OS. It will be available in two versions that differ in size. Report further states that Galaxy Watch will pack improved healthcare features and the company will offer top of the line app relating to the fitness features.
