Xiaomi has announced Mi A2 Lite, the company’s latest mid-range Android One smartphone along with the Mi A2, as it had promised. It packs a 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch, is powered by Snapdragon 625 with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), a 12-megapixel rear camera with flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for AI portraits and AI scene detection. There is also a 5-megapixel front camera with AI portrait and AI Face unlock.
It has dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots and packs a 4000mAh battery that promises 6 hours of continuous gaming and 34 hours of music playback.. At the launch with dual pyrolytic graphite sheets that will help to diffuse and radiate heat quickly and reduce the temperature by 2 degree Celsius.

Xiaomi alongside the Mi A2 and A2 Lite at an event in Spain has also announced the Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush that was announced last year and Robot Builder and said that they will be rolling out globally in the coming days. Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush is Xiaomi's personal healthcare product that uses ultrasonic technology.
The ultrasonic technology enables vibrations of up to 31,000 per minute for powerful cleaning. It comes with DuPont StaClean high-quality bristles and has a waterproof body with IPX7 ratings. The Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush features smart personalized custom brushing modes that can be tweaked using the smartphone app.
It comes with a 700mAh battery promising a battery life of up to 18 days on a single charge when used twice a day. The small charging dock that it comes can be used as a power bank. On the other hand, the Robot Builder is a robot that comes in 978 parts. It can be controlled using a smartphone and thanks to its modular design, it can be assembled into different structures using 978 toy blocks along with other parts like wheels, hears, and chains.

The Mi A2 comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display without a notch, which is slightly bigger than the 5.5-inch display on the Mi A1. Powered by Snapdragon 660 with up to 6GB of RAM, it runs stock Android 8.1 (Oreo) with support for Treble. It has a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor for the front camera with soft LED flash and AI beautification.
The phone has a unibody metal design, and the phone has a solid feel when holding. It comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.75 aperture, Sony IMX486 sensor along with a 20-megapixel secondary rear camera with Sony IMX376 sensor to capture depth information for AI portraits.
There is a fingerprint sensor on the back, and the phone doesn't miss out on the infrared sensor, however it doesn't have a microSD expansion slot and 3.5mm audio jack, but the company includes a Type-C to Audio adapter in the box. It has a 3010mAh built-in battery.

After the poster leak last week, the Galaxy Note9 has now surfaced in first press shot, thanks to @evleaks. This show S Pen stylus in the new Golden or Yellow color that we had seen in the poster. Google today announced that it is introducing new grammar suggestions in Google Docs along with a revamped interface for spelling and grammar review. Alongside this, Google is introducing a slew of new features to GSuite including Security center investigation tool, Data regions, Smart Reply in Hangouts Chat, Smart Compose, voice commands in Hangouts Meet hardware.
The new investigation tool in the security center adds integrated remediation to the prevention and detection capabilities of the security center. GSuite admins can identify potentially infected users and remove access to Drive files or delete malicious emails. The Investigation tool is available today as part of 'Early Adopter Program' for G Suite Enterprise customers.
Next on the list is the new 'data regions' to G Suite. For organizations with data control requirements, G Suite will now let customers choose where to store primary data for select G Suite apps; globally distributed, the U.S. or Europe. Apple today is rolling out a new update for its brand new MacBook Pros that were released earlier this month. This update brings a fix for performance related issues and thermal management system under certain conditions. The bug especially drives the clock speeds of the MacBook Pro's lower than necessary under heavy workloads.
The update comes after several reports about the performance issues related to CPU throttling. The 6-core Core i9 in the new high-end MacBook Pro seems to be quite aggressive but the bug discovered by Apple is not app specific and affects only intense workloads. Though reports point to the issues only in the high-end core i9 machines, it seems to be affecting all the new MacBook Pro models.
It appears that Apple must have missed the bug as the internal benchmark testing wasn’t affected by the bug. So, post the new supplemental update, Apple's original claims of the new 15-inch MacBook Pro being up to 70% faster will still remain the same. Apple said to have internally ran tests using Premiere Pro with similar workloads and the update indeed appears to fix the problem.

Details about the LG V40, the next flagship in the ‘V Series’ code-named 'Storm' surfaced back in April, now the Korean giant has filed for trademark of V90 in Mexico. This could be entirely a new smartphone for Mexican markets or the V40 could release as V90. The trademark filing that was registered on July 13th doesn't reveal any other details of the smartphone except for the name.

Update 2 - July 2018: Xiaomi has added couple of new cards including ‘Check train PNR’ and ‘Trending apps’ to MIUI App Vault. Xiaomi has partnered with Ixigo for ‘Check train PNR’ service which can be used to check PNR status without leaving the home screen. Users need to enter their 10 digit PNR number for their upcoming train journey to see all the details. The card also shows recently checked PNR numbers which is really helpful as users don’t need to enter PNR number each time they check PNR status for the same journey.

According to Morgan Stanley’s Katy Huberty who is a noted Apple analyst, the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone despite being announced in September might not be available for sale until October. The major delay for this is because of the production problems with the innovative backlighting system.
The innovative backlighting system appears to be a key to the near-bezel-free design. This isn't the first time we are hearing reports about the iPhone production delay with the LCD model. Though analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says he believes that Apple might be able to catch-up and still have the device on sale in September.
The delay of the LCD model would result in lower than shipments expectations in this quarter. We are expecting the 6.1-inch iPhone will be available in a range of colors including black, white, blue and orange, but instead of gold and red suggests yellow and taupe. The Apple iPhone 6.1-inch model will have a single rear camera lens and will measure 147.12 x 71.52 mm (5.79 x 2.81-inches). Since it is a low-cost iPhone, the company might cut down on 3D touch but will have a notch.

Google and Dropbox today have announced a partnership today and through this partnership, both the companies will see their first-ever product integration which is a DropBox add-on for Gmail.
With the new Dropbox add-on for Gmail, you will be able to view, store, and share any file without leaving your inbox. As for Dropbox, it will deepen their investment in the G Suite ecosystem, offering a cross-browser, cross-platform and this new add-on will work with any browser, as well as the Gmail app for Android. However, support for iOS will be coming soon.
Users can drop a file or folder to your Dropbox, and anyone can access it without installing special software. The add-on is available on the G Suite Marketplace. Panasonic India has finally debuted in the OLED TV segment with a new line-up of two series, along with 11 models in the 4K segment. The new OLED line-up comes in 55-inch "FZ950" and 65-inch "FZ1000" series. The company says that both these series are equipped with features like "Hexa Chroma Drive PRO" color management system.
Furthermore, they come with an absolute Black Filter, super bright panel, ultra fine tuning technology, and thin dynamic blade speakers. The new OLED TVs run on the renamed version of the Firefox operating system; 'My Home Screen 3.0' which would enable users to customize and navigate through apps faster.
It comes with swipe and share mechanism, that would also let users share content between the TV and other smart-devices over the home network. The TVs come with a two-way Bluetooth audio link function to let users play music via a smart-device on the TV speakers.
The OLED line-up comes in 55-inch and 65-inch and they starts at Rs 2,99,000. While the 4K series starts at Rs 65,000 in India.
