Update: The iOS 12 beta 5 further hints that the new iPad Pro will have a display with rounded corners.
Apple is rumored to launch the updated iPad Pro at its hardware event and this new iPad Pro is expected to feature a brand new designed, along with with the TrueDepth sensor, FaceID, no 3.5mm headphone jack. Thanks to iOS 12 beta 5 update many interesting things are being revealed about many upcoming Apple products, freshly the new finding more or less confirms a new bezel-less design.
The new Accessibility settings as a part of the battery usage UI shows that the upcoming iPad Pad might not come with a home button, this means that it will rely on Apple's FaceID technology. Furthermore, it will have thinner bezels, thanks to a tiny glyph found in an OS. However, notably, the only thing that is missing from the glyph is a notch.
This method in AccessibilitySettings confirms Face ID on the new iPad Pro (J3xx) pic.twitter.com/oeJQ0GxOoM
— Guilherme Rambo (@_inside) August 1, 2018
This means that the 2018 iPad Pro will not pack a notch like the three upcoming iPhones. The name of the asset specifies “iPad”, it’s new to iOS 12 beta 5 and there are no references in the ...
Rumors so far been suggesting that Apple might be introducing a new dual-SIM variant of the upcoming iPhones. This would allow users to use two SIM cards with dual standby. However, it appears this functionality could be limited to iPhones that will be launched in China. According to Foxconn source, the dual-SIM dual standby feature could be exclusive to the 6.1-inch low-cost LCD iPhone model.
Furthermore, new iPhones slated for a September launch is currently underway and Foxconn employees suggest that Apple is producing four unique model numbers (801, 802, 803, and 804) for the upcoming iPhones, hinting at the extra two SIM model. The 801 and 802 models are the 5.8 and 6.5-inch iPhones, while the latter two represent the 6.1-inch LCD iPhones; one with single and the another with dual SIM variant.
Since the dual SIM usage is on the higher side in China and to stay competitive in the world's one of the biggest smartphone market, Apple is said to be taking this route for the first time. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also suggested that Apple is working on two 6.1-inch iPhone models for launch in 2018. While the dual-SIM model might be slightly costlier than the regular single SIM variant, he didn't mention that ...
Motorola introduced the Moto Z3 phone with 5G Moto Mod earlier this week, few months after it introduced the Moto Z3 Play. However, the Z-series phone never really gained the attention and sale figures the company wanted, and with that in mind, the company on Twitter confirmed that it wouldn't be launching anymore Moto Z-series phones in 2018.
Hi. We will not be launching any more moto z’s this year.
— Motorola US (@MotorolaUS) August 2, 2018
Though this doesn't come as any surprise, it sure is a bold move from Motorola. The first-gen Moto Z phone has three models; the standard Z, the Z Play, and the Z Force. Ever since Motorola has been following the same pattern. But in response to a fan query which asked if Motorola would bring out the Moto Z3 Force, the company outright dismissed it by saying: "We will not be launching any more moto z phones this year."
There are still some unanswered questions like if Motorola would continue to use the Moto Mod ecosystem now that its promised three years are up and the future of the Z-series. Let's wait to see where Motorola is aiming to go from this point.
Microsoft's Bing search is getting new features including improvements to hotel booking experience, home services pricing and schedules, coupons, deals and more. However, all of these features are available in the US.
Back in May Bing introduced the hotel booking experience with aggregated pricing from third party booking sites and today, the company is adding intelligent tips, a price trends view, and a comparison view. It provides historical price trends for the date range you’re exploring to help make price-based trade-offs. The new price trend feature allows users to browse price trends over time in a single view.
The new comparison view provides an overview of pricing by hotel option. You can see the detailed breakdowns side-by-side so you can pick the best choice for your needs and budget. Up next is the home services pricing and scheduling which is becoming equally tough for users.
To carter the users, Bing is bringing cost ranges to provide transparency for home services like sink installation costs and toilet repairs. These ranges show a visual distribution of prices, specific to your zip code so they’re tied to your location. The company says that the price data comes from its partnership with Porch.
Bing finally brings aggregated deals across first- and third-party listings and display them when ...

Samsung accidentally outed a promo video that revealed some of the feature of the Galaxy Note9 that will go official on August 9th. Now the retail box of the smartphone has surfaced that reveals complete specifications of the smartphone. This reveals a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED screen, slightly larger than the 6.2-inch screen on the S9+ and a bigger 4000mAh battery, however Samsung is said to retain the SoC and the camera from the S9+.

As we all know Google will be launching the Pixel 3 and other hardware products at the Pixel event later this year. While we see the renders, leaked live images of the Pixel 3 smartphones, we are yet to hear details about the launch schedule. However, Google might have just accidentally outed the launch date, according to Famebit promotional advertisement.
According to the list, Google might be planning on launching the Pixel 3 series on October 4th sticking to its years-long schedule. For those unaware, Famebit is a platform that connects advertising agencies and marketers with content creators for promotional purposes.
In this case, the post allegedly is said to have been created by Google itself to promote the Pixel 3 in Canada with a description that notes, "The Pixel 3 Phone is launching October 4th, 2018." As mentioned, the launch date falls in line with previous Pixel announcements, at the "Made by Google" October 4th event. However, the world 'launch' is a tad bit confusing considering Google hasn't shipped the phones right after the announcement.
However, there is no way to tell if this ad is indeed created by Google as there is a chance that it could be an elaborate hoax. Either way, if the ...
Google is moving past 2D as it is adding a new 3D Globe Mode on the desktop. This new mode shows the Earth as a globe rather than a flat surface. For the mode to work, you need to zoom out far enough, and then you will eventually get a moon's-eye view of the earth.
With 3D Globe Mode on Google Maps desktop, Greenland's projection is no longer the size of Africa.
Just zoom all the way out at https://t.co/mIZTya01K3 😎🌍 pic.twitter.com/CIkkS7It8d
— Google Maps (@googlemaps) August 2, 2018
This change brings in a more realistic view and according to Google, "with the 3D Globe Mode on Google Maps desktop, Greenland's projection is no longer the size of Africa." This feature falls in line with the 'Google Earth' that represents the earth from that viewpoint.
The new "Globe Mode" update is only available on desktop and works on all major browsers, including Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. However, there's no information regarding the mobile availability.

Google is rolling out a new update to its Google app and as usual, there's aren't any major changes right out of the bat, but there are substantial changed lying beneath. It hints about features like a conventional translation on smart display, categories in top apps, memory Aid Locker and more.
Google seems to be developing a new feature; currently named "Memory Aid Locker." However, there are not many details about the feature except for the clues like the name, a placeholder for a settings screen, and a layout that only contains a web view. It could be a new version of 'Saved pages' in order to make it earlier to organize information.
Google might soon bring live language translation to the first Assistant-powered smart displays. However, the code of the app just adds details like instructions to start talking, a couple more status messages to show when Assistant is listening and when it has begun translating.
Over the last few versions, there are various bits and pieces appearing relating to a "Top Apps" feature. While there's were not many details in the previous versions, the new update adds a list of popular app categories. The topics cover the government, news, science, technology, and so on. It also a dedicated category ...

Shenzhen-headquartered OnePlus hasn't been around for long but caused a tremendous stir by selling power-packed phones that sell at a significantly lower price in comparison with other manufacturers.
Founded in 2014, the rising upstart OnePlus is making some much-needed noise across the globe including the Indian smartphone market. A couple of years ago, Carl Pei, Co-founder, OnePlus, mentioned that the Android smartphone makers are more focused on marketing than producing the best product.
On the other hand, OnePlus aimed to design a smartphone with a top-notch quality and groundbreaking specification at a lower price than other smartphones in its class, thus OnePlus One was born.
With the OnePlus One, the company also introduced a one-of-its-kind invite system to purchase the device. As per the invite system, Invites are handed out through various means including social media, promotions, competitions and more whereas the OnePlus owners can also share invites with their friends.
These marketing tactics along with positive WOM (Word Of Mouth) enabled OnePlus to build a community and loyal fanbase. While most of them thought the invite system will cease to exist with OnePlus 2, the company proved it wrong. Furthermore, to generate hype, the company kept it's device specifications under wraps and decided ...

Apple might be US's first $1 Trillion company and it could have bestsellers worldwide, but if you look closely, the company is struggling to keep up in one of the world's biggest market; India where it is lagging behind in the 11th position. Apple, in fact, sold less than 1 million iPhones in India in the quarter accounting to a meagre 1% market share.
Fortunately, Apple is well aware of this and is planning a strong comeback, according to a report from Bloomberg. The report highlights the steps that Apple is willing to take in order to regain its position in the country and these include better retail deals with higher sales targets, the establishment of Apple stores in India, an overhaul of the company’s relationships with independent retailers, and improved apps and other services aimed more closely at Indians and this also includes a revamped version of Apple Maps by 2020.
As for the better retail strategy, Apple will be partnering with individual stores to raise sales targets by four times to 40 or 50 units every week. It plans to cut off retailers that consistently fail to hit the mark. In exchange, Apple will train the retail sales staff to teach customers how to use ...
