Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the F1 smartphone last month, and the phone first time on Flipkart and Mi.com from August 29th. These skins come in four versions, one with smooth matte finish, leather-like finish, camouflage finish and there is also a version with wooden finish on the back. These skins will cover only the back of the phone, so if you need protection for the sides, you need to get a case. The company bundles soft case in the box.

It also reveals that it will pack similar specifications as the Galaxy A8, including an Exynos 7885 SoC and 4GB RAM.

OPPO’s sub-brand Realme launched the Realme 2, the company’s second-generation smartphone in India last month. During the first sale the company said that it sold 200,000 or 2 lakh units of smartphones in just 5 minutes on Flipkart. Xiaomi just announced Mi 8 Lite (Youth Edition), a cheaper version of the Mi 8 in China, as expected. It has a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with a notch, is powered by Snapdragon 660 AIE with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI top, has a 12-megapixel rear cameras with f/1.9 aperture with AI scene recognition to recognize 238 scenes, along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots. It features a 24-megapixel front camera with AI beautify features.
The phone's display can light up in different colors to suit different scenarios when taking selfies, intelligently illuminating the face with the right color temperature. Xiaomi, along with the Mi 8 Lite also introduced the Mi 8 Pro with a pressure-sensitive in-display fingerprint sensor. This only activates the unlocking process once you place your finger on the screen, which is faster and more power-efficient and is 29% faster compared to the in-display fingerprint sensor on the Mi 8.
It comes in Gradient versions with glass back as well as Transparent Titanium version, similar to the Mi 8 Explorer Edition. It has similar specifications as the Mi 8 that was introduced back in May.

Meizu today announced V8 and V8 Pro smartphones in China, both with 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio displays. Both these run Android Oreo. The V8 Pro is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm SoC and have 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots, while the V8 is powered by a quad-core Quad-Core MediaTek MT6739 SoC and 13-megapixel single rear camera. Both these have a fingerprint sensor on the back and have a metal design.

Chinese handset maker Meizu today introduced the EP52 Lite earphones targeted at runners and outdoor users under the EP series. Since EP52 works over Bluetooth, it is completely wireless and at a mere 16 grams, these headphones are fairly lightweight as well.
Considering these earphones are waterproof (IPX5), the earbuds feature a nano-coating that makes it sweat and waterproof.
According to the specs sheet, the earphones use Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX, have an impedance of 32ohms, sensitivity of 106dB @ 1kHz, with a maximum power output of 10mW.
As per the company claims users will get about 8 hours of continuous music playback with a single charge, while they can function for 150 hours on standby while being hooked up to your phone via Bluetooth (Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX).
Along with the earphones, the company has launched Power Bank 3 with two-way fast charging technology. The 10000mAh power bank comes with two USB ports for charging multiple devices simultaneously. It measures 142x70.8x14mm and has an unibody metal design. It has 9V/2A 18W input so it can be charged fully in 3.5 hours. Xiaomi launched the Mi 5 smartphone back in 2016 running MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), earlier this year it got the Android 8.0 Oreo-based MIUI 9.5 update as well as new features. After the Redmi Y2 and Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Mi 5 users have received the stable MIUI 10 OTA update from today.
The new update comes as MIUI 10.0.1.0.OAAMIFH and is 549 MB in size. This update still has August security patch. Huawei is all set to introduce the Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro smartphones in the month of October. While we have seen rumors and leaks fall into place every once in a while, we don't have a complete picture yet. Now here comes a surprise; Huawei is also planning to launch a new version of the wireless Huawei freebuds dubbed 'Huawei Freebuds 2 Pro' along with flagships on October 16th.
The Huawei Freebuds 2 Pro are AirPods look-alike and it needs Huawei Mate 20 or Mate 20 Pro combination to interact with KI-based speech recognition. The headphones connect via Bluetooth 5.0 with the smartphone and they come in a portable case which also works as a loading dock. It also supports Qi wireless charging and has charging LEDs on the outside of the case.
It appears that users will be able to charge the Freebuds 2 Pro's case using the phone itself and for standard charging, USB-C is included as well. As for technical specifications, the earbuds support Hi-Res Wireless Audio over Bluetooth 5.0 and can last up to 3 hours.

Google is rumored to launch new Pixelbook on October 9th at the Pixel event, while we have seen the Pixel 3 phones surface in the wild, we haven't really gotten our eyes on Pixelbook successor. That ends today; we are now seeing what appears to be like a Pixelbook. It has a USB Type-C port on the bottom left and speakers on the left side of the tablet.
Going by the flat power button present on the keyboard, it looks exactly similar to the rendering of the fingerprint sensor enrollment image for Chrome OS spotted by the Chrome Unboxedearlier this month. We already know that Google's Pixelbook might have support for a fingerprint sensor and is also likely to have an SD card slot.
Furthermore, it is said to feature acoustic echo cancellation, and since there are multiple microphones on top of the tablet, this is a given. It is expected to be powered by the 8th-generation Intel processor and said to sport pogo pin support even though we don't see Bluetooth button on the keyboard. However, at this moment it is unclear if this is a Pixelbook, but if it indeed is, the design looks neat.
