Ahead of the OnePlus 6T launch, OnePlus has announced pop-ups in 9 cities across 12 locations in the country on November 2, 2018. Notably, the pop-ups start a couple of days after the launch of 6T in India, which is on October 30, 2018.
Talking about the location, the pop-ups will land from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm IST on 2 November in 13 locations across 9 cities including Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Jaipur. Apple has scheduled an event on October 30th but ahead of the launch, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared some details on what to expect from the event as well as information on other products that we might see from Apple in late 2018 or early 2019. According to Kuo, there will be an updated iPad Mini along with the regular Pro model.
As expected, there will be updated iPad Pro models with USB-C, improved displays, and an Apple Pencil with a new design. Furthermore, they will also come with Face ID, edge to edge screens, and no Home button. According to Kuo, there will be a new version of iPad Mini which has not seen an update in several years. It will feature an upgraded processor and a lower-cost panel.
However, it is unclear if Apple would launch it at the October 30th event or sometime later this year. We can also expect several Mac updates with upgraded processors and other internal improvements. Italy's anti-trust watchdog has fined Apple Inc and Samsung Electronics 5 million euros ($5.7 million) each over reports suggesting both the companies slowed down their phones through software updates. the Cupertino company was hit with an additional 5 million euro fine for failing to give clear information about how to maintain or eventually replace handset batteries.
Italian consumer groups report that software updates for Apple and Samsung smartphones reduced the functionality of the devices and were designed to push users into buying new handsets. The anti-trust body said in a statement that some Apple and Samsung firmware updates “had caused serious dysfunctions and reduced performance significantly, thereby accelerating the process of replacing them”.
Both the companies failed to provided users with adequate information about the impact of the new software “or any means of restoring the original functionality of the products”. Apple, however, acknowledged last year's iOS had slowed down some phones with battery problems but denied it had ever done anything to intentionally shorten the life of a product. The firm apologized for its actions and cut battery replacement costs.

Design
While the 55 inch flagship television from Xiaomi opts for barely there bezels and a razor slim profile, Mi TV 4A 49 Pro takes a more practical approach to design. The bezels are larger, so is the general thickness. Now, these things might matter to give context but do not make a difference in actual utility. The TV looks pretty damn good.
The construction is all plastic and looks, feels robust. Close inspection reveals that the use of high-quality plastics instead of glass or aluminium is a way to reduce costs but that's a trade-off that will likely be acceptable to the entire target user base. We do wish that the feet stands were metal instead of plastic but once put up, they held up just fine and did not give any cause for concern. You can of course use a wall mount.

Nokia has announced that its manufacturing unit in Chennai in South India has started manufacturing 5G New Radio (NR) based on the 3GPP 5G New Radio Release 15 standard. The Chennai plant is one of the largest telecom equipment manufacturing plant in the country. It has recently reached 4 million unit annual production milestone of 2G, 3G and 4G units.
