There are few products that manage to take a giant step forward with every successive iteration. Sony's 1000XM line of headphones is one such product that not only excels on their own but has taken the competition head-on.  The XM2 doubled battery but generally played it safe. With the WH-1000XM3 though, Sony has gone back to the drawing board and is making massive changes all around. What does it mean for the lineup? Find out in our review. In terms of design, Sony has completely re-engineered the headphone and the changes are almost universally positive. The headphone is flat out more comfortable to wear. From the pillowy faux-leather ear pads to the overall weight reduction, you can wear the MDR-1000XM3 for hours on end without any fatigue. During my testing period, I wore the headphone on flights, long bus rides and occasionally even when trying to sleep. There's more padding at the top which helps reduce pressure and Sony has reworked the design of the ear cups giving it a longer, more oval shape. The entire headphone now sits closer to the ears, which generally makes them more compact to carry around as well. Of course, like all the previous models, the ...

In the recent past, the emphasis given to the body colours by the smartphone makers is on the rise. Currently, we are witnessing a variety of hues, materials, and shimmer to suit anyone's tastes. While some people cover their device with thick protective cases, a vast majority of people either opt for a clear case to see the phone as it was intended. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEELWTJNem4 With that being said, OnePlus is one of the few companies out there that concentrates more on design, quality and colour as its core philosophy. This has been evident with its smartphones right from OnePlus One to OnePlus 6T. Be its design language, form factor or the quality everything was on point. Moving on, OnePlus has launched a new colour for the OnePlus 6T called Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T. This Purple model joins the Mirror Black and Midnight Black colour options that have been available since the 6T’s initial launch in October. The special edition of the much-lauded OnePlus 6T comes with a gradient back that fades from black ...

Microsoft is said to be planning on releasing a new hardware product which is an updated Xbox One console but won't be in the Scarlett devices which are next-gen consoles and are not expected until 2020 but in 2019. The company is planning to release a disc-less console.  However, if you have physical games lying around, Microsoft has a plan for that. It will have a ‘disc-to-digital’ program, which as the name states, turns your physical games into digital downloads. You will have to take your disc to a participating retailer and trade in your disc for a digital download. The goal with the new console is to lower the price point for the hardware. The current cost of the Xbox One is $299 and the company is looking to lower that price by possibly as much as $100; the new console price point is expected to be $200 or less. In addition, the company also has a revised Xbox One S SKU that is targeted for later in the year that focuses solely on cost reduction but does feature a disc-drive. As for Scarlett, Microsoft is still trying to decide if that console will include a disc drive but should be making the final decision very ...

As we are inching closer to the Galaxy S10 launch, we are hearing more and more details about the flagships. Two latest reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Will Feature next gen M9 Display Panels With Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) Laser Drilled Holes For The Front Camera And Infrared Sensor.  Given the strength of the Samsung display, the company should be very comfortable with display panels. Samsung introduced three new ‘notched’ screens at its developer conference earlier this month. One of them is an Infinity-O display, which, as the name suggests, features a circular cutout for the front camera, instead of a notch. Furthermore, now we heard that the panel will feature two holes, one for the front camera and the other for the Galaxy S10’s infrared sensor. Both these holes will be drilled with a Diode Pumped Solid State Laser drill. Samsung will use SFA, Phil Optics and Wonik IPS’ laser equipment to carry out this drilling. However, the company is not comfortable with DPSS and might adopt an alternative approach. Reports suggest that Samsung’s OLED panels for the Galaxy S10 will mark a generational upgrade over their predecessors. Samsung will use what are being termed as ‘M9’ OLED panels for ...
