At an event in San Francisco today, Microsoft's new CEO Satya Nadella announced the availability of Microsoft Office for the iPad. The company has released 3 new iPad apps for Word , Excel and PowerPoint . The apps are free for download and event viewing office documents is free. But editing the documents requires an active Office 365 subscription. This is clearly Microsoft's attempt at getting more users to sign up for their cloud based Office offering. The apps let you edit office documents on the iPad and maintain formatting across Office for PC, Mac, tablet and phone.OneDrive previously known as SkyDrive is also integrated and you can save and download documents from the cloud.Microsoft says that these apps were written from scratch specifically for the iPad and the touch experience in mind and not the traditional keyboard, mouse experience.iOS features such as Voice dictation and AirPlay are supported as well. We might have reviewed the Dell Venue 8 Pro way ahead of its Indian reveal, but the tablet trio, that includes two other Android tablets, launched only a while back. Dell's Venue 7 and 8 were Android tablets with two different screen sizes with largely the same specifications inside. Powered by an Intel processor, these tablets are placed at the mid range segment of the marketplace, which is the most popular segment for Android tablets these days. The Venue 8 is priced at Rs. 17,499, which might be a bit high when compared to the competition like the new Nexus 7, but is it good enough? While we'll tell you that in our review, here is a preliminary look through our unboxing and overview video - httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjFLcwol0jA As you could see from the video above, the Dell Venue 8 has minimal box contents - You get a bunch of information booklets along with the usual USB wall charger and data cable combo, and that's about it. Lets talk about the tablet then - With an 8 inch display over at the front, the tablet looks more like a Nexus 7 rather than a Dell tablet, but surely, the feel was familiar to the Dell ...

The Elife E7 is Gionee's first flagship smartphone that is aimed at the premium high end segment of the market. The device is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 800 processor and sports a seemingly good 16 MP camera, which brings it closer to the likes of other flagships like Nexus 5 and the even the S5 to an extent, but offers a price advantage making it one of the best VFM products out there. But can a newer brand like Gionee instill confidence in the high end consumer, with its hardware and software package? Lets find out in our Gionee Elife E7 Review. Check out our unboxing, in case you are interested in finding out what the retail version packs. Design, Build and Ergonomics Design of the E7 is very similar to what we have been seeing with other Gionee devices. It's kind of the anti thesis of Nokia's popular "Fabula" design which has a flat top and bottom with curved sides, while the Elife E7 has flat sides and a curved top and bottom. We've got the black version here, which is really dark, and blends really nicely with the display. Apart from the camera unit sticking out, this is a really ...

HTC One was announced more than a year back and it introduced a whole new concept of UltraPixel camera. HTC gave up on the Megapixel race and packed its flagship camera with a 4UltraPixel unit along with OIS. The camera did well in low light conditions, but failed in normal conditions and many claimed that camera was a big let down in the HTC One. A year later, HTC announced the HTC One successor in the form of HTC One M8 and it improves the UltraPixel camera concept. The new HTC One comes with a similar 4 UltraPixel unit on its back, but it comes with a 2MP companion camera on top of it. What Nokia did with their ReFocus app, HTC has tried to achieve the same with hardware. Hardware implementations are almost always better than the software counterparts, but HTC has proved that it isn't the case always. The combination of this 4MP and 2MP camera is HTC's hope to improve the much criticized camera on the yesteryear generation. Motorola would launch Moto G Forte with improved durability than the Moto G for Latin America. Popular leakster @evleaks has posted an image of the smartphone from @evleaksES account. Motorola unveiled the Moto G back in November last year and the dual SIM variant was launched in India last month. The Motorola Moto G has Corning Gorilla Glass protection to protect the screen from scratches and the some videos even showed it can survive in water for 30 minutes even though Motorola doesn't call it water-resistant. According to the leaked image, Moto G Forte has a huge casing to protect the sides. So it could be dust proof, shock proof and water-resistant. There are possibilities that this could also be an image of Moto G with a grip cover. It is not clear if the Moto G Forte would have a removable back cover like the Moto G. We still don't have specifications of the device, but it expected to be similar to the Moto G.
