A brand new render image from the popular leakster @evleaks on Twitter is showing the real look of the HTC One M9. The leaked image shows not one but two variants of the One M9. As per the images, the larger variant of the phone which is being touted as One M9 Plus, sports a physical home button and the smaller one does not. It seems that the larger version of HTC’s new phone will have a Samsung-like home button that may also serve as a fingerprint scanner. The design of the One (M9) appears in line with recent rumors, sporting redesigned BoomSound speakers that are slits at the top and bottom of the device’s face, as well as a centered front-facing camera. Unlike last year's HTC One, the new devices seem to feature all-glass front panels. The original M9 has the HTC logo just above the speaker on the bezel while it is present on top of the physical button on the larger One M9 device. It seems as though HTC is following in Apple’s footsteps with the launch of two different versions of its all-metal flagship phone. HTC One M9 that has been leaked several time in images will be unveiled on March 1 at ...

We're currently in Shenzhen on a tour of Huawei's Chinese factories and operations and the company has confirmed to us today that they plan to launch new wearable devices at MWC 2015. The company hasn't confirmed exact details but according to a slide we've seen from the PR Director, the wearable plans potentially include a smartwatch running on the Android Wear operating system, a Huawei companion application and a platform to run their wearable devices. Huawei's presence in the wearables market is currently very limited and their main wearable device is currently the TalkBand B1 which runs on a proprietary operating system. Huawei has long been expected to launch a device running on Google's wearable platform but information has been somewhat scarce about the device; although the company hasn't confirmed any specifics about its upcoming device, they did tease that there may be more than one device in the near roadmap. At the IFA 2014 Huawei's CEO Richard Yu already confirmed that the company is working on an Android Wear smartwatch for 2015.

We're currently in a Question and Answer session at Huawei's Shenzhen campus in China with the company's Chief Marketing Officer for Mobile Device, Shao Yang and he has confirmed that the company has no plans to develop a phone running on Microsoft's upcoming Windows 10 platform. When questioned about Huawei's past Windows Phone devices and plans by John McCann, Yang said that the biggest problem with the Windows Phone platform is differentiating between manufacturers. As an example, Yang said a Huawei device running Android has several unique characteristics compared to other Android devices but Microsoft's platform has the same interface across all devices. As such, it's difficult for the company to differentiate between themselves and other Windows Phone devices which is why the company has no immediate plans to launch a Windows Phone device. Whilst discussing the possibility of Huawei's future plans however, Shao Yang did concede that the company may look into Windows 10 on its Tablet range. Yang suggested that the company has no plans to launch a solely Windows 10 device but is considering a dual-boot system to run both Windows 10 and Android on the same tablet. Other companies such as Samsung have introduced devices with similar functionality and offering ...

Users will be able to link their Spotify and PlayStation Network accounts, allowing them to pay for Spotify through your PSN wallet. It will work for the PlayStation 3 and PS4 consoles, and PS4 owners can listen to their Spotify music while playing games. Spotify’s 30 million-track library and 1.5 billion playlists will then be available to PlayStation Music users. Sony said Music Unlimited will go offline March 29 in all 19 countries in which it is currently offered. Existing PlayStation Music subscribers who have an active subscription as of February 28, 2015, will get a free 30-day extension through to the closing date, and will also get a special Spotify Premium trial offer when the new service launch. source | via

We have seen too many reports on the specs and features of the Galaxy S6. Now a latest one from SamMobile is stating that Galaxy S6 and S Edge will be compatible with Samsung Gear VR headset.   The report states that it has confirmed from it sources that both the devices will allow users to use the VR headset and enjoy the experience. At present the Samsung Gear VR works only with the Galaxy Note 4 and not the Note Edge but the report said that it will support the S Edge that is expected to have curved display on both the sides. The Note 4 has a 5.7 inch display while the the upcoming Galaxy S6 and S Edge are expected to sport a 5.1 inch screen. Hence, it is speculated that either both the devices will have a larger screen or Samsung might release a VR adapter for the two handsets, or it could be readying a smaller variant of the headset. Currently, information about the matter is scarce.

Oppo R5 Review: Fashionably thin

When touchscreens happened, the keys disappeared, and suddenly, we had a lot of sleek devices, telling us science fiction-to-fruition is indeed possible. It was simple, you didn't need depth for even the thinnest of keyboards and it was just a screen and glass on top of other complicated electronics. So, then thinning of the other parts and refinement of the glass (did you know, Gorilla Glass 2 had a 20% reduction in thickness vs 1?) were the subsequent steps to get the slimmest device possible, and it seems the Chinese have broken new ground. The Oppo R5 was overshadowed by the flagship N3 at its launch event, yet it managed to stand out, primarily because of breaking new ground in thinness. It was, at launch, the world's slimmest smartphone, an engineering achievement. Vivo might have quickly leapfrogged Oppo with a thinner (4.75mm vs 4.85mm) X5 max, which had a 3.5mm headphone jack, to much of everyone's surprise. Even then, the R5 still remains one of the most shockingly thin devices ever made. Hence, it comes with a price tag that makes you wonder if the thinness, in an otherwise mid-range smartphone, is really worth the money. The Oppo R5 is really thin, ...

Samsung patents home screen sharing solution

Samsung has patented a new solution for saving and transferring your home-screen designs from one device to another. The company is aiming at making the transfer simple and easy. The main aim of the solution is to save the users from the tedious process of installing the apps and setting them up as per your liking. Users can select from a number of saved home-screen setups and use them according to their needs. As the service will work on cloud, the two handsets do not need to be physically next to each other. Home launcher apps like Nova launcher, Apex launcher and others offer the option of backing up your home screens in case of  a change of the handset. The home screen sharing feature will mostly be restricted to Samsung devices but again there can be other possibilities as well. source
