Domo, popular for its PC peripherals, tablets and accessories has launched the DOMO Slate X14. It has a 7 inch display, powered by a 1 GHz Corex A8 processor with Mali 400 GPU and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with 512MB RAM, packs a 3000 mAh battery and is aimed at students.

Lenovo has launched the S5000 tablet at IFA 2013 in Berlin. The Lenovo S5000 is a 7inch tablet with a HD display running on a quad-core processor from MediaTek. You can check out the hands-on video below to have a quick look at the tablet.

Lenovo S5000 is made of a metal body instead of plastic and that makes it feel better than the other plastic tablets. The tablet feels solid because of the metal build and looks sturdy. On the front, we have the HD display above which we have a front camera for video calls and a earpiece. The tablet is surprisingly thin at 7.9mm.
Lenovo S5000 is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor from MediaTek -MT6589 and runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean. There is 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for expansion of internal storage as well. There is a 5MP camera at the back and a 1.6MP camera at the front. Nokia announced the 208, affordable feature phone along with the 207 back in July, now the phone is available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 2.4-inch (240 x 320 pixels) 65k color display with a physical T-9 keypad 3.5G and has 3G connectivity. It runs on Nokia Series 40 OS and comes pre-loaded with Facebook and Twitter and WhatsApp. It is 12.8mm thick and weighs 90.6 grams.
It has a 1.3-megapixel rear camera with smart imaging features such as voice guided self portrait, sequential shot and panorama mode and Slam feature to share multimedia content like photos, music and videos with nearby friends instantly.
The Dual SIM Easy Swap technology with dedicated SIM manager lets you switch SIM cards without switching off the device. It has a micro SIM card and comes with Internet-sharing to share 3G just by connecting the device to a PC or laptop via a USB cable. Apple is expected to unveil the company's latest flagship smartphone, the iPhone 5S and a cheaper iPhone 5C at an event in Apple’s HQ in Cupertino. Apple sent out the press invites for today's event last week and China Telecom confirmed it recently. There were rumors about Apple adding biometric fingerprint sensor on the new iPhone’s home button. Now, The Wall Street Journal has confirmed that the next iPhone would indeed have a fingerprint sensor.
iCtech, a Chinese Weibo user has posted a user manual for the iPhone 5S that reveals the existence of a large Home button that is also called Touch ID sensor. The specfications of the iPhone 5S has also been leaked by CTechnology. The display and the dimensions are expected to be similar to the iPhone 5.

Slim is definitely in with manufacturers constantly looking to make their devices slimmer with even more features. With the Ascend P6, Huawei have come very close, packing a feature list including a 4.7 inch 720p screen, Quad-core processor and 8MP camera into a body just 6.2 mm thin.
In comparison, the Lumia 925 comes in at 8.5 mm with similar specs with the addition of a PureView camera and 4G LTE. Despite very clear differences, these hero devices share some design similarities. Both devices combine premium design with very respectable specs, in search of the holy grail where technology meets the beauty market.
Each manufacturer has targeted camera users with their devices yet they do not directly compete. The Lumia 925 sports an 8 MP camera with Carl Zeiss Optics, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and PureView technology and clearly focuses on users who like to capture photos in all conditions.
Whilst Huawei have enabled the Ascend P6 with an 8MP camera, they've clearly focuses on users who like to take selfies, with the P6 featuring an class-leading 5MP camera. Asus announced the MeMO Pad 8 (ME180A) at the IFA 2013 in Berlin last week. Apple launched the iPad mini, the company's first 7.9 inch display last year. Since these two tablets are almost similar in the size, we managed do a hands on comparison at the IFA. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a 8-inch HD LED Backlit IPS multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel at 188 ppi pixel density. The iPad mini has a 7.9-inch LED Backlit IPS multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixel at 162 ppi pixel density. The Memo Pad 8 uses a quad-core quad-core MediaTek MT8125 Cortex A7 chip clocked at 1.6 GHz with PowerVR SGX5 series GPU and runs on Android 4.2.2, while the iPad mini comes with a dual-core Cortex A7 chip with PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU and runs on iOS 6.

The Nokia 207 is a typical Nokia feature phone with a rectangular build. There is a 2.4inch display sporting a resolution of 240x320 pixels. Nokia 207 is a very basic feature phone without even a camera. It has 256MB internal storage supported by 64MB RAM. There is a microSD card slot for expansion of internal storage.
In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 207 has 3G, Bluetooth and microUSB. There is a stereo FM radio with RDS and FM recording is possible. Nokia 207 is fueled by a 1020mAh battery.

Asus Fonepad saw yet another refresh at the IFA 2013 in Berlin and the Fonepad 7 was showcased among the many other Asus devices. The new Asus Fonepad 7 is a minor update over the earlier version of the Fonepad 7 with new front facing dual stereo speakers and an upgraded 5MP camera at the back. Nokia 515 is a basic feature phone with a premium build. The display on the Nokia 515 measures 2.4inch with a resolution of 240x320(pixel density - 167ppi) and it is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 which is usually found in mid-range smartphones. The front of the phone has plastic, but everywhere else, there is Aluminum making it look and feel solid.

With the next iPhone(s) scheduled to launch in just a few hours, we took the liberty of comparing the Apple iPhone 5 with the just launched Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because for all you know, the 5S might just be a slight upgrade over the 5. That said, the Galaxy Note is possibly the most technologically(read: hardware) advanced smartphone right now, so how does it fare in comparison with the most popular smartphone on the planet? As you can see from the video above, the size comparison is really mind blowing. The Note 3 with its huge 5.7 inch full HD screen is massive, making the iPhone look like a small toy. But talking of toys, the glossy glass and the plastic sides make the Note 3 a bit cheap in comparison with the iPhone 5's beautifully built metallic body. But of course durability on the Note 3 is better, especially thanks to the replaceable faux-leather back. Oh, and removable back cover means removable battery and micro SD card slot, both of which have been absent on the iPhone since time immemorial.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was the star of the IFA 2013 in Berlin and it was announced along with a lot of accessories. The Galaxy S4 was the first device to have the S-View cover which not only protected the device, but had a small window to let you peek at the screen for important information. The Galaxy Note 3 is also getting an S-View cover, but the window on the Note 3's S-View cover is fairly large and it is expected to let you perform more than a few basic options. The S-View cover comes in a wide variety of colors and there are nearly 10 color options available.

Nokia announced the 208, affordable feature phone along with the 207 back in July, now the phone is available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 2.4-inch (240 x 320 pixels) 65k color display with a physical T-9 keypad 3.5G and has 3G connectivity. It runs on Nokia Series 40 OS and comes pre-loaded with Facebook and Twitter and WhatsApp. It is 12.8mm thick and weighs 90.6 grams.
It has a 1.3-megapixel rear camera with smart imaging features such as voice guided self portrait, sequential shot and panorama mode and Slam feature to share multimedia content like photos, music and videos with nearby friends instantly.

Now, The Wall Street Journal has confirmed that the next iPhone would indeed have a fingerprint sensor.
iCtech, a Chinese Weibo user has posted a user manual for the iPhone 5S that reveals the existence of a large Home button that is also called Touch ID sensor. The specfications of the iPhone 5S has also been leaked by CTechnology. The display and the dimensions are expected to be similar to the iPhone 5.

Slim is definitely in with manufacturers constantly looking to make their devices slimmer with even more features. With the Ascend P6, Huawei have come very close, packing a feature list including a 4.7 inch 720p screen, Quad-core processor and 8MP camera into a body just 6.2 mm thin.
In comparison, the Lumia 925 comes in at 8.5 mm with similar specs with the addition of a PureView camera and 4G LTE. Despite very clear differences, these hero devices share some design similarities. Asus announced the MeMO Pad 8 (ME180A) at the IFA 2013 in Berlin last week. Apple launched the iPad mini, the company's first 7.9 inch display last year. Since these two tablets are almost similar in the size, we managed do a hands on comparison at the IFA. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a 8-inch HD LED Backlit IPS multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel at 188 ppi pixel density. The iPad mini has a 7.9-inch LED Backlit IPS multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixel at 162 ppi pixel density. The Nokia 207 is a typical Nokia feature phone with a rectangular build. There is a 2.4inch display sporting a resolution of 240x320 pixels. Nokia 207 is a very basic feature phone without even a camera. It has 256MB internal storage supported by 64MB RAM. There is a microSD card slot for expansion of internal storage.
In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 207 has 3G, Bluetooth and microUSB. There is a stereo FM radio with RDS and FM recording is possible. Nokia 207 is fueled by a 1020mAh battery.

Nokia 515 is a basic feature phone with a premium build. The display on the Nokia 515 measures 2.4inch with a resolution of 240x320(pixel density - 167ppi) and it is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 which is usually found in mid-range smartphones. The front of the phone has plastic, but everywhere else, there is Aluminum making it look and feel solid.
Nokia 515 runs Series 40 OS and comes with 3G, Bluetooth and microUSB support. A dual SIM version of Nokia 515 will also be available as Nokia 515 Dual SIM. With the next iPhone(s) scheduled to launch in just a few hours, we took the liberty of comparing the Apple iPhone 5 with the just launched Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because for all you know, the 5S might just be a slight upgrade over the 5. That said, the Galaxy Note is possibly the most technologically(read: hardware) advanced smartphone right now, so how does it fare in comparison with the most popular smartphone on the planet? As you can see from the video above, the size comparison is really mind blowing. The Note 3 with its huge 5.7 inch full HD screen is massive, making the iPhone look like a small toy. But talking of toys, the glossy glass and the plastic sides make the Note 3 a bit cheap in comparison with the iPhone 5's beautifully built metallic body. But of course durability on the Note 3 is better, especially thanks to the replaceable faux-leather back. Oh, and removable back cover means removable battery and micro SD card slot, both of which have been absent on the iPhone since time immemorial.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was the star of the IFA 2013 in Berlin and it was announced along with a lot of accessories. The Galaxy S4 was the first device to have the S-View cover which not only protected the device, but had a small window to let you peek at the screen for important information. The Galaxy Note 3 is also getting an S-View cover, but the window on the Note 3's S-View cover is fairly large and it is expected to let you perform more than a few basic options. The S-View cover comes in a wide variety of colors and there are nearly 10 color options available.

Apple just revealed that the much awaited and critiqued iOS 7 update will be coming over to most Apple devices, but it will reach the iPhone 4S and the 5 on September 18th. The iOS 7 update includes the much awaited user interface overhaul and some extra features like AirDrop and brand new multitasking.
