    Apple has kick started the 'Gather Around' event with Apple Watch Series 4 announcement. The new Apple Watch Series 4 packs a stunning new display with an edge-to-edge curved display to perfectly match the shape of the watch. The company says that the screen is over 30% larger than the predecessor.  The U.I has been tweaked to take advantage of the larger screen. It lets users add contacts to watchface for one-tap access to them and has redesigned the modular face providing more information from stocks, heart rate, activity. The Breathe app is finally a watchface, so you can just raise the wrist to be guided into. It gets new fire, water, vapor dynamic new watchfaces that interact with the display. The digital crown is being re-engineered and includes haptic feedback. The speakers are 50% louder optimized for phone calls, Siri and Walkie-Talkie and the Mic is also moved to the other side to reduce the echo.     Apple just announced iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, the company's latest flagship smartphones at an event, as expected. The new iPhones have 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch 458PPI  Super Retina HDR displays with support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10, as well as 120Hz touch-sensing. Both these have Face ID for unlocking. Apple is also introducing Dual SIM support with dual standby via eSIM that is already available on iPad worldwide for the first time. The company is tying up with operators for this. However, China will get support for Dual physical SIMs. These are powered by new Apple A12 Bionic chip based on 7nm platform, first in the industry, before the Huawei's Kirin 980 next month.     Apple just introduced the company's flagship iPhone XS and XS Max smartphones starting at $999. The company also announced the pricing and availability of the phones in India. The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB capacity models in space grey, silver and a new gold finish starting at Rs. 99,900 (MRP) and Rs. 109,900 (MRP), respectively, through Apple Authorised Resellers starting from September 21st. We should know the price of all the variants shortly.     Apple has concluded the 'Gather Around' event after announcing the new iPhones, Apple Watch. Apart from these, the company has also announced the rollout schedule for the iOS 12, HomePod and tvOS 12 with Atmos and Watch OS and macOS Mojave which it introduced at WWDC. The rollout of the iOS 12 will start from September 17th, while the macOS Mojave will commence from September 24th.     Apple introduced three new iPhones - iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, all with support for Dual SIM cards worldwide. These iPhones have a primary nano SIM and have secondary eSIM support working with carriers. It also announced Airtel and Reliance Jio will support eSIM in India, and the company said that it will add more partners next year. Apple also said that eSIM support will be available with an update to iOS 12 coming later this year, so you can use only the primary SIM when the iPhone XS releases later this month.     Apple introduced iPhone XS, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone XR at an event in the U.S. few hours back. At the event it also announced price cuts for iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 series. In India the company has announced price cuts for iPhone 6s series and iPhone X as well, in addition to iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 series. This price cut comes after a price hike after increase in import duty back in February this year. The iPhone 7 Plus 32GB has received Rs. 12940 or 20.5% price cut, while it is just 1.8% or Rs. 2030 price cut for the iPhone X 256GB. Even though Apple sets a standard MRP, some third-party retailers sell the smartphones at cheaper rates. So you can get it online at cheaper even after this price hike.     In addition to range of iPhone models, Apple has also announced price cuts for the Apple Watch Series 3 GPS and GPS + Cellular models in India, after the price cut in the U.S. to $279. It also introduced the new Apple Watch Series 4 with a new design and several new features.     OnePlus just announced Type-C Bullets, the company's latest in-ear earphones. The company said that it is more than just an update on Bullets V2 that was launched back in 2016. It has several improvements and modifications to deliver crisp, powerful sound. It has a metal design, cable made of aramid fibers that makes the Type-C Bullets more resistant to stretching.     Apple is adding new features to HomePod including the ability to search by lyrics, set multiple timers, make and receive phone calls and more. It is also bringing support for Spanish in the US, Spain, and Mexico, and expands support in Canada with Canadian French. The update also brings the popular Apple Watch feature; Find my iPhone, so users can ping any of their nearby devices to find them. With iOS 12, Apple introduced Siri Shortcuts where Siri learns user routines and suggests ‘shortcuts’ on iPhone and iPad. Now, these shortcuts are accessible on HomePod. The new Shortcuts app personalizes shortcuts for HomePod with a series of tasks. Additionally, it now lets you search by lyrics to play a particular song, artist or genre. It also brings support for multiple named timers. Users can conveniently use HomePod to make and receive phone calls. To make a call, simply ask Siri to call someone from Contacts or say the number to call.     Samsung Electronics and Google have announced that they are working together to offer global Rich Communication Services (RCS) coverage and interoperability. This will enable features like the ability to chat over Wi-Fi, create rich group chats, see typing indicators and read receipts, and share high-resolution photos and videos across platforms. Both the companies will work together to ensure that their messaging clients, Android Messages and Samsung Messages, work seamlessly with each company’s RCS technology, including cloud and business messaging platforms. As part of the collaboration, Samsung will work to bring these RCS features to existing mobile phones* beginning with the Galaxy S8 and S8+. However, upcoming Samsung Galaxy smartphones will also natively support RCS messaging, starting with those on a set of carriers that have or will soon launch RCS.
