The XPAD FUNDROID series include, XPAD FUNDROID Q1, XPAD FUNDROID Q2, XPAD FUNDROID Q4 and the XPAD FUNDROID Q5. The AMAZOID series has the XPAD AMAZOID M1. The company plans to launch phones in the SMARTDROID series soon.
The company has already launched these smartphones in UAE market, during GITEX 2013 and is already on sale in Africa, Egypt, GCC and CIS countries. The new XPAD smartphone range feature single core to Quad Core processors. It has also created custom UI and softwares for smartphones such as smart swing and has also developed different color back panels. At IFA 2013 in Berlin, which was held during September, Sony launched their latest flagship Android smartphone - Sony Xperia Z1 and a couple of WiFi enabled QX series lens. Sony's QX 10 and QX 100 received a lot of acclaim from the industry and are now all set to receive a firmware update. According to Engadget, the update will be coming to the two lenses sometime in January and the update is expected to improve the camera performance.
With the update, the ISO sensitivity is expected to improve as the QX10 and QX100 will get ISO options till ISO 3200 and ISO 12800 respectively. Higher ISO options allows for better photos in low light conditions. The update will also bring 1080p wide screen recording to the QX10 and QX100. The QX100 will alone get a shutter priority mode which can help you take better long exposure shots.
The companion app for Sony QX cameras - PlayMemories Mobile for both Android and iOS will also receive an update and in the new version 4.0, there will be a quick photo browse option for easily checking out recent photos. Last month evleaks revealed codenames of upcoming Nokia phones - Goldfinger, Moneypenny, Normandy, Phantom and Spinel. We had already heard that Goldfinger would be one of the first Windows Phone Blue devices with 3D Touch features. Now @evleaks has revealed that Nokia Moneypenny would be launched in two variants, Lumia 630 or Lumia 635, based on the configuration.
Since the device is already rumored to come in dual SIM variant, the Lumia 630 might be the single SIM variant and the Lumia 635 might be a dual SIM variant. Nokia has started pushing out the Lumia Black update in a staged roll out across the globe. The first devices to get the update include AT&T Lumia 1020s. The update is a combination of enhancements brought by the Windows Phone 8 Update 3 and Nokia's customizations.
The update is for the Nokia Lumia 1020 and 1520 and brings with it several improvements including:
Accessibility: Several improvements have been made for users who are visually impaired.
Storage. Now you can easily free up storage space on your phone and manage temporary files. New categories show what's taking up space.
Driving Mode. Driving Mode allows you to minimize incoming calls and text messages to help you focus on the road.
Screen. You can now lock your screen orientation so it doesn't shift when you move your phone around.

At the Abu Dhabi event earlier this year, Nokia announced their first phablet - Nokia Lumia 1520. The Nokia Lumia 1520 is the first in various aspects - first Windows Phone phablet, first Windows Phone to sport a Full HD 1080p display and the first Windows Phone device to run on a Snapdragon 800 SoC. The specialty about the Lumia 1520 is that it retains the goodness of a PureView camera from the Nokia Lumia 1020. Budget Android smartphones with dual SIM capabilities never seem to stop coming and today we have another budget Android smartphone from another Indian manufacturer. Xolo A600 is a budget Android smartphone that is currently priced around Rs. 7,100 and comes with a decent display, a dual-core processor and a 5MP back on its back. Is it worth buying? Lets find out.
Design, Build and Handling
The build and design of the Xolo A600 contradict its pricing and the budget category that it belongs to. The build feels quite premium and the choice of materials used is quite interesting for a phone at this price. The design language is however, nothing much different. On the front, we have a glass slab that has the display beneath it and on the sides and back, we have a matte finish material which gives the device great gripping. The top and bottom part of the phone have a chrome finish material enhancing the premium look.
On the front, we have the 4.5inch display which occupies most of the real estate. Above the display, we have the Xolo logo above which we have the earpiece. Towards the left of the earpiece, we have the proximity and ambient sensor ...
Earlier this week Samsung unveiled the Smartphone Gamepad, a gaming controller for smartphones to improve the gaming experience. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Game Edition with GamePad bundle has been outed by a German website, AllaboutSamsung.de, who got hands-on the retail box. Even though Samsung announced that the GamePad has been optimized only for Android 4.3 devices like Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Note 2 and Note 3, the Galaxy Tab 3 Game Edition is likely come with Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) out of the box.
The Galaxy Tab 3 Game Edition would have similar specifications of the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch WiFi tablet . Since the GamePad dock has been designed only for phones with screen size ranging between 4 and 6.3 inches, it will not fit the tablet. The tablet connects to the GamePad over Bluetooth and also comes with an HDMI adapter in the box so that you can connect it to a TV.
We already know that Samsung Smartphone GamePad is priced at 79.99 GBP (Rs. 8,140 approx), but pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Game Edition is not available.
Nokia announced the Lumia 525 sometime back last month and basically, it was a Lumia 520 with a very slightly different design and 1 GB of RAM. The Lumia 525 is primarily for addressing the low RAM issue on Windows Phones. Phones with 512 MB of RAM, like the Lumia 520, were not allowed to download some apps and games from the Windows Phone Store because of them demanding more resources. This was partly solved with more optimizations from the developers' side, but we still see a lot of new apps and games releasing with the limitation, so Nokia simply went the other way and updated the 520 with 1 GB of RAM, and that's exactly the reason why 525 exists. It was revealed at an event in Goa today that the Lumia 525 will be arriving to India during the first week of January 2014. The Lumia 520 is already the best selling Windows Phone in India and we hope the 525 directly replaces it. BlackBerry today opened the first Enterprise Solutions Centers in Mumbai and Gurgaon in India. This will be the third country to roll-out a BlackBerry Enterprise Solutions Centre after US and UK. These centers will cater to the needs of enterprise customers and provide them with a walk-in experience of BlackBerry’s robust enterprise mobility management solutions including BES10, says the company.
These BlackBerry Enterprise Solutions Centres will train BlackBerry Enterprise VARs (Value Added Resellers) and customers on deploying BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 and Plans to offer courses for BlackBerry certifications for IT administrators who are currently managing a BES infrastructure or want to enhance their skills on BlackBerry Enterprise Solutions.

The Finnish upstart, Jolla, has just hit another milestone and is now available for purchase in Europe. Running on the Sailfish operating system, the phone has a very interesting user interface derived from the remains of the erstwhile MeeGo project. The phone is already on sale in Finland and has been shipping to users for a few days now.
Jolla's self named phone has fairly mid range specifications but that doesn't hold it back as the hardware and software are very well optimized for each other. The screen is a 4.5 inch display with a resolution of 540x960 pixels. Powering it is a 1.4Ghz dual core Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The camera module is 8MP alongside a 2MP front facing unit. Users get 16GB of built in storage.

Samsung has sent us an invite for a smartphone launch on Monday, December 23rd, 2013. The invite just says "New GALAXY Smartphone Launch" without giving any hint about the smartphone. Since there are no new smartphones for Samsung to launch in India and it had already released the new Galaxy S Duos 2, it is likely to launch the Grand 2 next week. The Galaxy Grand that was launched earlier this year was one of the popular mid-range smartphone in this year.
