Started off as OPPO's sub-brand and later formed as a separate company, Realme has launched its fully upgraded Brand Visual Identity system and Logo to provide a new visual experience The "R" logo in “Realme Yellow” designed by Eddie Opara.
Realme announced that it will be rolling out its upgraded brand image across all channels starting from today. Realme's new "R" logo and smartphones will launch across Southeast Asian markets including Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, countries in South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.

Google is extending the Project Fi VPN to all connections. The enhanced network also enables a fast, seamless connection by intelligently switching between Wi-Fi and cellular.
Google says that when you enable the enhanced network, all of your mobile and Wi-Fi traffic will be encrypted and securely sent through our virtual private network (VPN) on every network you connect to. This includes Google's VPN that is designed so that your traffic isn’t tied to your Google account or phone number.
Project Fi's enhanced network automatically detects when your Wi-Fi connection becomes unusable and switches to cellular data and will have a seamless connection on the go. Google claims that it has reduced the time without a working connection by up to 40%.
The company says that it will be rolling out the enhanced network later this week to Fi-compatible phones running Android P. You can enable it anytime in Fi Network Tools in the Project Fi app.

Back in October, Microsoft has announced and later paused the rollout of the Windows 10 October 2018 Update over reports of missing files, and after resolving the issues, the company has finally resumed the update via media. The update will be rolled out in batches, meaning it will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
In addition to extensive internal validation, the company has taken time to closely monitor feedback and diagnostic data from the Windows Insiders and from the millions of devices on the Windows 10 October Update and found no further evidence of data loss. The company says that the update will be available via the Windows Update. If it detects that your device may have an issue, such as an application incompatibility, the update will not be installed unless the issue is resolved.
Microsoft is planning to add a Windows update status dashboard in the coming year to provide more information on any issues that lead to update blocks. The Windows 10, version 1809 is now available through Windows Server Update Services, Windows Update for Business and System Center Configuration Manager’s phased deployment. It is also available for commercial customers.

Waymo, which is a private subsidiary of Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc., is planning to launch the world’s first commercial driverless car service in the next two months, according to a report from WSJ. It will operate under a new brand and will compete with Uber and Lyft.
Waymo is keeping the new name secret until the formal announcement. The company in an emailed statement said: “Waymo has been working on self-driving technology for nearly a decade, with safety at the core of everything we do.” A Waymo spokesperson declined to comment.
While it may be a big milestone for self-driving cars, it won’t exactly be a “flip-the-switch” moment. The service of the Waymo won't appear in Play/AppStore anytime soon, instead, things will start small—perhaps dozens or hundreds of authorized riders in the suburbs around Phoenix, covering about 100 square miles.

Samsung is all set to launch its top-end Galaxy A9 2018 (SM-A920F) smartphone with quad-rear cameras in India on November 20th. Google back in 2017 enabled in select countries to message businesses from the Business Profiles on Google giving users the opportunity to ask questions without having to make a phone call. Google, just in time for the holiday season has introduced new Assistant features that can be particularly helpful at home and more. Google Assistant features broadcast where you can send a message from your phone to your smart speakers and smart displays at home, the company is making this feature even more useful where you can reply back to a smart speaker or Smart Display to your phone.

Back in September Qualcomm's next-generation flagship Mobile Platform which is said to be released as SM8150 passed through Geekbench revealing scores on-par with the Apple’s A11 Bionic chip and better than the Snapdragon 845-powered flagships. Now the SoC has passed through AnTuTu revealing whopping 362292 points, better than Apple's A12 Bionic chip that scored around 3.5 lakhs, and Kirin 980's score of 2.7 lakhs.
The Snapdragon 8150 is said to adopt tri-cluster architecture with large, medium and small cores with a large core, three medium cores and four small cores running at a maxium frequency of 2.84GHz. 2.4GHz and 1.78GHz, respectively. It is said to use Andreno 640 with 20% better performance compared to Adreno 630.
Qualcomm already confirmed that the SoC will be built on the 7nm process node and will be 5G-capable when paired with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G modem.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 is expected to be announced in Q4 2018 and power smartphones early next year starting from Samsung Galaxy S10. We should know more details soon.

It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM, but we guess it will also have a 6GB RAM variant. It will have a triple-rear camera, however, the details of the same are still unknown at the moment. As for the other model, the ASUS ZenFone Max M2 ZB633 packs a similar 6-inch FHD+ display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 with 4GB RAM coupled with 32/64GB storage.

Intel India has inaugurated its latest design house, SRR4, at its Bengaluru campus. It also announced key initiatives to promote innovation in the technology ecosystem. The company has invested over Rs. 1100 crore. It is located in a 44-acre campus on Sarjapur Ring Road (SRR) in Bengaluru.
This campus will extend Intel’s R&D presence in India, it will house technologists who work on cutting-edge engineering across hardware and software. The new building is equipped with IoT-based smart features, including smart lights and real-time occupancy management, as well as innovative energy harvesting tiles installed at the entrance of the building that generates and store energy.

Update: Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available for sale starting November 23rd, 12 noon, a day after launch exclusively on Flipkart.
Earlier: Xiaomi just sent out invites for the launch of a new Note series smartphone in India. The image shows a notch and the number '6' so it will likely be the Redmi Note 6 Pro, as we had reported last month.
